Cost of growing

I just want to know what other growers in this forum pay for there electricity. I am from the upper peninsula of Michiagn,.Rate is 26.42 per kilowatt. I know that there are ways of conserving power but just curious rates across this growing community…thanks and happy growing :bat:

$.34 on the mainland edge of Cape Cod.

Unless you’re asking total cost to run my setup, I’ve never done the calculation.

14 cents per kilowatt in Western, North Carolina. But you get a little break for non peak hours. (Lights cycle on dark hours) :victory_hand:

I don’t break it down that way. I break it down the more depressing way my electric bill went from $200 a month to $370 a month during grow season.

Wow , that is high. The last time I calculated , I was thinking maybe thirty five to forty bucks a month with lights on.
Good luck :victory_hand:

WowI I wish I had that luxury.

In Maryland, temps average 100° in the grow season. My grow room is just underneath my roof (very hot)

I run a huge air condition, a commercial dehumidifier and humidifier, and a 4X4 500 watt light. Did I mention Maryland? We are the fifth most expensive state to live in in the United States. So yes, the bills are high

I see , everybodys situation is a little different. I feel like a huge advantage with basement grow . Supplement a small amount of heat in lung room winter grow with lights off.
