September 29th Day 22. Young ladies have responded well to training so far. Mixed up a fresh res of nutrients. 600ppm (1.2ec) 5.9ph. The 350R is sitting 24" above canopy at 183 watts.

These plants still just seem way behind and dark green in color. I alternated days fertigation until the leaves covered the pots. Then turn them back onto the rez fertigating through the Halos the past 3 days once a day. Still too much water? Too much nutes? 600ppm at 5.8.6.1 ph. Too much nitrogen? Phosphorus deficiency?

Look super healthy in my opinion, a little darker green from heavy nitrogen she but seems to not mind. What’s your DLI/PPFD? Sweet light! I’ve noticed between week 2.5 and on my start growing daily. That’s after 14 days as a seedling, so about 30 plus days above ground. My run off numbers are 850 plus around week 3 and increase then back down nearing harvest. There’s always genetics but I would be curious on your DLI and PPFD

I doubt it. I flood my pots every day without issue. I wouldn’t say color on your plants looks bad either. Just maybe slightly darker than normal.
Your node spacing looks a little tighter than I shoot for. Maybe bending on them has slowed em’ down a bit?

Maybe I’m just worrying too much after losing the one plant, lol. Just comparing the growth in this setup compared to the 2 grows in my 2x2. But those both was Fast Buds genetics. And @OGIncognito my dli has been 35-40 across the 2

DLI looks on point. Exactly where I’m at as of Monday evening. I noticed a reaction so raised the light back to to 22” and kept the same intensity setting.

I agree with @dbrn32 to the T.
Your not seeing any leaf tip clawing and that means nitrogen is not to high yet. It’s on the high side of normal.
You can back off your light a bit, this is about reading the plant, and the plant will stretch more so learning to adjust the lights by reading your plant is key and rhe DLI is great but it’s just a tool in the toolbox it is not a law.
@Docnraq flooding plants once a day is fine (as king as their not in soil) its about giving plant a full soak and then allowing them to dry for a day.
Over watering is more of a thing when the roots arnt allowed to dry out a bit.
It’s the same reason plants can sit in water and be healthy like autopots, but allowing the top roots to breath.
Flood and dry.

I just hand feed, but using 70/30 coco perlite i pour until it runs out the bottom of pot every day. Unless you do a major defol or stress the plant in another way they will take just about all of it in a days time.

I was going to say the same as @dbrn32 and @Nicky It looks like you are giving her a lot of light for how tight the node spacing is. But over all. She looks great

Thanks everyone. I backed the light off a bit last night. Readings at 26-32 Dli across the 2 now. I just gotta keep in mind every strain is gonna be different. I still have about 8 gallons of nutrients in my res. Should I feed it out and just monitor the plants? Or would you try to cut back the nitrogen on the 8 gallons I already have mixed? I’ve been following this schedule for proper ner, adding 5mil gal cal mag and .6gal Mammoth P. Then cutting in down to 600ppm (1.2ec)

October 6th, Day 29. Young ladies chugging along. Still training to get more flower sites exposed. Plants are staying pretty squat. Fertigating at 600ppm 5.9-6.0ph. Lights on temp 78°F lights off 71°F Rh 60%. The 350R still setting at 24" above canopy giving the gals 30-35 dli across the canopy.
1 Blue Cheese seeding is doing well. She’s still waiting on her sister to join her. Replanted a seed Friday night. First seed didn’t break ground after 7 day. Dug down into the coco to find a germinated seed with the tap root wrapped around the cotyledons.

How’d you orientated the seed I always tell everyone to plant them sideways for maximum safety and anti helmet head I forget which but a moderator said to plant it tap root up and that would probably pull the shell off better but bigger chance of an accident

October 14th Day 37. Ladies are coming along nicely. Staying low, wide and lots of flower sites showing. Fertigating twice a day 650ppm (1.3 ec) 5.8-6.0 ph. Temps 73°F-78°F. Haven’t done much more training to them other than leaf tucking. Plants are getting 45-50 Dli across the canopy. Transplanted the 2 photo period plants a couple days ago. 1 gal Smart Pot transplanter pots. Sprinkled Mykos on the roots and in the hole. They seem to be adjusting nicely.
