Cooking with wet trim

My dry trim went straight from plant To the freezer. Does it need to be dried out before moving on to a cooking recipient or making canna butter?

It sounds like you already dried it significantly before the trim. Is that correct?

It dried hanging with the flowers for about 7 days. I dried trimmed and cured the buds but just threw all the trim in a Tupperware, then in the freezer. There is still moisture as I thaw it out, but not wet

Obviously higher water content is going to make the cooking process a little more volatile in butter, but it shouldn’t be a big deal. I don’t see why you couldn’t follow a butter recipe that calls for dried trimmings. I’d probably thoroughly defrost it first though.
