Hey All-
I’m really trying to connect with anyone here who is currently engaged in commercial cultivation exclusively outdoors.
I’m in the preliminary stages of developing a cannabis based small businesses here in Maine using a two pronged approach. One involves edibles manufacturing and all the inherent security, inventory, licensing and QA aspects. The other is supplying our own raw material or active ingredient and the inherent security, delivery, processing, QA and inventory aspects.
I’ve got the edibles formulas, potency calculations, and production facilities/methods thing down. I’ve got the excessive outdoor home grow yield thing nailed too but I’m looking to scale UP. WAY UP.
Any advice is appreciated.
We will be in attendance at the 2017 NECC in Boston to learn all we can about small to medium scale outdoor cultivation operations.
I plan to limit any grow to 999 plants as 1000 is a federal felony that will currently earn the unlucky recipient of such a sentence a minimum 10 yrs in Federal Prison.
@Willd, hey I always say there is no such a thing as coincidence.
I am planning to go big in cultivation too…
Got plenty of land and water, as you know right now its a try period, but I will be building better and bigger ( big big big ) greenhouse too…
Maybe we could co- operate together on some level…
My plan is to supply the ( dry) period june- September… Either by growing autos or by forcing photos to flower early …
I aim for steady monthly harvest instead of one big one at the end of year…
If you think we can be of value to each other venture, I am all for it…
Godspeed !
The demand where you are is exponentially higher. About how far east are you from the coast as the crow flies?
We could most certainly collaborate. Just so happens I have a sister in CA looking to get into something ground floor by means of providing seed capital.
Agreed about the scaling. I’m in the Northeast US and doing things a little differently since I am committed to outdoor cultivation exclusively to achieve what I hope to be unheard of lowest cost to produce.
I am about 100 miles north of Redding, just south of Oregon border…
I am looking to cooperate with someone who is able to run the business side of the venture, licensing, product ( edibles), marketing…
I can grow this stuff ( 180 acres with plenty very good water even when we had the dry years ) but I can’t run the business, got a homestead to take care of and 3 little children…
I got some money to start I think the seed capital would be needed for the business part ( license, mainly )
If you like to go deeper into details, I think it would be best if we go through private email…
I’m outside of Philly, and actually have been applying to jobs in California for getting into the industry. If you are able to join the “real time help” job opportunity then maybe we talk about it more because I’d love to help out!
That’s my goal eventually, so I’ll be watching to learn as much as possible!
