Here is some info on identifying leaf issues.
Quick question , What do you use to measure your PH ? 6.3-6.8 is the range you want to be in but you should have just one PH number when you test . Like 6.5 .
i use a digital ph meter. what i meant with those numbers was that when i water my plants i ph my water to be in that range.
in the early days of the plant i did notice a couple of leaves having some tiny spots but the new growth was good so didn’t make nothing of it. but today i saw a good amount of leaves with the discoloration as you can see in the pics. whats strange is that i have given the same amount of water and nutrients to all 3 plants since day 1 so can’t understand why one plant has these symptoms and the others don’t. what you think is the best option to flush the affected plant ?
Before flushing, I think it best to try to determine why this is happening. For example, searching marijuana leaf symptoms on google or looking at this link, this kinda looks like leaf septoria, it also looks like something that could be caused by a pH problem, maybe something affecting calcium.
Your pH range is probably fine if you are using a true soil and not a coco blend, with 6.5 being ideal. I use a coco blend and try to keep my pH between 5.7 and 5.9.
Thanks for filling out the support ticket. That really helps. A few questions:
When you water your plant, do you water it until there is a good amount of runoff coming out? You will want to collect some of that run-off and test for pH and ppms.
With the nutes you are using, are you following a schedule?
Do you measure the ppms of nutes you are adding to the water?
Is your water RO or well-water?
Use cal-mag?
i am using a soil mix.
always water until i have a little runoff but never took a reading of that, will do when i water tomorrow.
i am using the nectar of the gods notes, following the schedule that it came with.
my water is rain water.
i used cal mag early in the plants life but stopped since i started using the nutrients since they are calcium based.
It looks like a potassium deficiency, but i’m not familiar with the nutes you’re using. Really need to know your Ph to figure out what’s wrong.
@Usmcjojo is the NotG expert I think. He might be able to help to.
It looks like a cal mag issue especially if the stems are starting to turn purple
Looks to be on the older leaves. I’d have to guess Magnesium deficiency.
It looks a little like a calcium/magnesium deficiency, but it’s not, it’s potassium.
We’ll see if the spots get dark and the leave tips shrivel up. I considered it for a moment. Agreed not a calcium def.
Today it seems that the spots are darker and the leaves look like they are a lot drier than yesterday.
So what the plan of action? Wanna try to fix the problem before its too late.
What is your Ph and PPM?
