Hello everyone and a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all!!! I’m Gona clone a few cuttings and give it a go with aloe on more time. Last round was a high success rate hoping the same for this batch of clones. @FloridaSon @mulegal @highcountrygal @Rick3 @bonnie1 and anyone else that might want to join along. Almost forgot @anon35207245 I know you like the more inexpensive way of growing and here we go. Aloe is full of soo many vitamins,enzymes, amino acids too long to list, but let’s get to the point what we are extracting is Salicyic Acid, that’s found in (the GOO), this acid helps the plant stay safe and healthy thru stressful events, such as cloning, drought,heat . So the goo is the hormone found in the aloe Vera not the skin, that simulates root growth.First thing I do is, Skin your aloe into chunks and fill your lemon sqezzer and squeeze, them mix aloe and (non ph’d) rainwater or R.O. Water and Stir up
while that sits I mix jiffy natural & organic seed starting mix , for every 2 cups of jiffy mix I add 1/4 cup of perlite and 1/4 cup of vermiculite. Mix thoroughly. Once I have the mix in small pots I sanitize Sicrrors with a lime or alcohol pad then I cut my clones and stick into the water aloe mix. Next i poke holes into the aloe Vera so I can stick the stem into it, after the holes are made I remove clones, cut them at 45deg. & stick them straight into aloe Vera next i make a hole in the mix and plant my clones Next I drain the aloe water mix using a cheese cloth and the water my clones Then I water my clones with aloe water mix evenly till it’s finished, if you don’t have water run off, water with regular rainwater or R.O. Water till you do and once they are trimmed they are placed in there new home, under a led 12 watt led grow light 30 inches away, they don’t need lost of light at this stage @dbrn32 any suggestions on the led I didn’t want anything to strong. Awesome tutorial! Far as the light goes, the light I use is probably similar in output, and I usually run it a few inches above my dome. I’m sure the dome blocks some light, but probably not a good portion. So I would think you could probably be quite a bit closer with your light. But may not be necessary. Watch them for a bit and if you feel they don’t have the energy to root try maybe 12” or so from tops of plants.
Thanks my friend, I don’t use humidity domes, I should have added that. Humidity stay about 56 to 65 percent but I do mist them with a spray bottle. Yes,thanks for info,I will leave them there for the first week and raise them slowly, will update weekly till I get roots thanks again my friend.
Good deal, I didn’t think so. I mentioned the dome because I probably wouldn’t run my light as close if I didn’t use it.

High you! @Covertgrower. I’ve got so much going on now, I am sure I could I’ve been doing it for years with other things, but I do have Aloe growing. Did you know it weakens when watered and shouldn’t be used for medicinal purposes until it has gone without water for at least a week? Enjoy this day and I am lovin’ my Alexa!

What about the aloe in the pot? It won’t root itself or rot away?

I can also attest to how well this works. I have gotten a little lazy (and couldn’t grow enough aloe quick enough), so I have purchased 200x aloe vera powder from here : You are being redirected...
Works wonders (and you can use it in an aeroponic cloner!)

Ok buddy, I moved them up they are loving the light. They are about 12 inches give or take from led. First time using leds was a little scared but I trust your judgment better than mine on leds. @dbrn32
