What chart can you give me a link or copy?
I have like40 bagsof FFOF and am in the 6th week of my first grow
I flushed with 8 gallons each of my 4 gallon pots and no change still in low 5s hi 4s
Gonna slurry test the bags b4 planting next time and adjust with lime but this run idk
I had a similar issues years ago. I ran 70- something gallons of tap (around 7.2) through 2 5 gallon pots to get the pH up to early 6’s. amended with lime, then fed to restock the depleted soil after all the flushing. took a couple weeks but the pH started to rise. Got me through flower, by the end of flower my pH was exiting around 7.0
I use fox farm soil mixed with different amendments (mostly coast of maine) and had some low pH issues this year. However, I was also feeding heavily and wasn’t using ph up with my nutes until mid flower when I noticed the ph issues.
Fox farm soils are supposed to be 6.3 to 6.8 but someone in this forum tested a fresh bag and it was in the 5’s. Maybe throwing a sprinkle of slow release lime in is a good idea at starts of fox farm grows.
Also i don’t think it makes sense for you to add ph down if you are concerned your ph is too low. If your ph is too low then using slightly high ph water is not a terrible idea. If you add a small amount of nutes, like fish emulsion or roots organics, that will also lower the ph of your water.
