I believe the two pictures can be of anything thats relevant doesn’t have to be plant pictures.
For all the “Contests grows” it’s only 2 pictures total… Regardless of how many plants or medium we have. @dbrn32 ask for one general picture of your grow and one of the feature we deem most important/best at the time (unless I sadly misunderstand his directions)… :
If we want to post any more pictures, we should do it in the Chat section for each individual grows.. ![]()
sometimes this place is better than a comedy club… just sayin…
Thanks @kaptain3d I appreciate your response and input.
You’re welcome. ![]()
You should also take note that this particular grow off is for an outdoor grow. So unless your 2 fabric pots and hydro set up are outdoors, you won’t need to post about them here. I’m sure we’ll all be happy to follow their progress in your personal journal. That’s what a bunch of us did for the Northern Lights #5 grow off.

Thanks @kaptain3d , Yes, all of my grow is done outside including the hydroponics. I have several pictures of it in some of my other posts, but I’ll drop a couple here just for reference. I know a lot of people think that I’m crazy (I am) for doing it outdoors in SoCal, but hey, it’s an adventure!
Nice! That’s going to be fun to watch ![]()
1 post each week and 2 pictures in the post. It’s okay to not have everything posted, just do what you can.
Thanks @kaptain3d
Will do, thank you for your help.
Just a quick update here because I don’t want to post in the weekly updates forum with this. Dumped the soaking water from the CannaKan, added just a little new filtered water and H2O2 for humidity and put her back on the heat mat. 2 were showing first “tadpole” tails already. I have “high” hopes…lol Have a great day all.
I tripped over a power cord and knocked over both solo cups that had the 2 GFOG seeds. They are in plugs so I think they’re gonna be ok I mixed some new soil and put the pugs back in the solo cups. They should be popping up in a day or two
Love the gnome @Darran. Looking forward to getting to know you grommie. This will be a fun adventure.
Tails a popping:
Hope you didn’t get hurt, you ok?
@noddykitty1 those look great. I don’t have any gnomes on my fabric bags or my pots, but I do keep them in the in-ground garden area for plant protection. I have a great Zombie gnome (halloween) that I think that I might put for my GFOG in-ground plant. It’s either that one or a Ninja gnome. Have to see how I’m feeling when it’s time to put her in. Would really enjoy seeing your “protection” gnomes for your grow. Thanks for noticing and commenting on mine. It’s the little things that make us happy when sharing.
As long as YOU can pop back up quicker than a day or two… getting harder to get up as I’m getting older. Hope you and plants are good. @plumbdand
Thanks @Darran I didn’t go down luckily Im pretty agile for my age. I just wasn’t paying attention. Turns out one seed didn’t make it. I dropped another one this morning. I checked the other plug and can see green getting ready to poke through.
Here we go dropped 5 this evening getting ready for grow, let’s do this… ![]()
Another 24 hours have gone by. Here’s a picture of the CannaKan. Got 4 out of 5 to sprout (that’s why I dropped 5). Nice little wiggly tails on them. I’ll leave the last one for another 24-48 hours just to see if it’s a late bloomer. Another picture of the grow tray with the seeds planted. 3 in soil, 1 in GH Rapid Rooters plug for the hydro bucket. Hope you enjoy them.
Nice. My 2 are ready for cups in a few.
They’ll go in the tent with the others under the sf2000 till they get a few nodes on them.
Temp and humidity are pretty good. Im just using a 4 in desk fan to move the water surface a bit in the tray. That’s raised my rh 30% over ambient , and the light is the only source of heat in my tent / room too. Lol.

Nice! I see the cups on the right side waiting for the babies. Good selection of strains.
