I would like legalization just for the personal grow aspect. One less thing to worry about.

Iām about 10 minutes from the border, legal for recreation in my state not in the state 10 minutes away, so I suspect a lot of the people in my area are from out of state and as you suggest ācandy storeā shoppingā¦ For me the local dispensary is literally 3 minutes away and I have never even been inside 
I took one look at their website on launch day and could not believe their pricesā¦ Yet the parking lot is busy from the minute they open to the minute they close, I have never driven by it and not seen the parking lot at least half full, and I drive by it quite often as itās just down the roadā¦
