27 RH seems really low since seedlings depend on it for the first couple weeks above ground imo…
Update and a new issue! I lost a few, but with y’all’s tips I managed to get 8 of them thriving. Thank you!! Now, I’ve got a different sort of problem with one of the remaining seedlings. This is the one with the starter leaves stuck together that I snipped. It actually recovered and started growing, though the first official leaves were different sizes from the start. But its growth stalled—never took off, and starting two days ago (Day 16) I noticed the leaves started browning from the tip and looking crispy. I thought it was perhaps too close to the light (which is weird because its siblings are the same distance and doing fine) so I moved it a little farther away and re-domed it in case it was a moisture issue. Just 48 hours later, the browning has spread dramatically toward the center of the leaves. Only a bit is left that is green. I have searched around the forums but not found exactly this problem. Soil is the same as the others (Coast of Maine), light the same, watering regime the same, still on the heating mat (with a thick plastic tray between mat and peat pot).
Any ideas?
Pic was taken this morning (Day 18) before watering and misting the dome.
My seedlings are about 1 “ in happy frog in 3.5” containers. Some say to cover the plant and mist the soil. Is using a pipette recommended and how much water is recommended
