Are the prices normally that high for a table at the Hynes?

Would a comic book convention table be as expensive?

Are the prices higher because of the cannabis connection?

With the table costs, staying there a couple of nights, food and drink…easy $3500-$4000…you’d need signs and displays…

@garrigin62 that is really steep? Wow. That’s a shocker!

No dought…to rich for my blood right now. But maybe next year when we have more time. But we can still make our presents known…t-shirts, hats, flyers cards ect…

@kabongster I have done sponsorship for a regional sports championship in NE the last 3 years -and our highest level sponsor is $2500…the event probably brings in $35,000 to event organizers and the same or more to Sponsors and Vendors…so relative to that, I’d say yes, this convention must be expected to draw a lot of sales. I read that AmeriCann bought a huge facility (that was sold by Boston Beer Works) … there is significant cannabis investment in MA…it will be interesting to see how this plays out. local NPR is carrying stories about Town Meetings and community discussions on Rec — what towns can gain by identifying with the cannabis community, which ones feel they are wanting concerns addressed. I would like to get involved in MMJ advocacy, but still have reservations about privacy. Hoping to see some progressive topics highlighted at the convention…I only bought ground floor access
