Cannabis Convention in Boston this April 2017

@Willd I’m just a short subway ride to the Hines so anytime works for me.

Just remember that here in MA we are allowed 1 Oz in our possession, not 1 lb

My plan would be to head up Rte 2 and park at Alewife and take the train in.

@Willd if you can swing the Nor’easter fare it’s worth it, although street parking is free on Sunday that’s an area that will see a lot of folks coming in - Back Bay, Newbury St, Fenway all close by

Yeah we just discussed it this morning again and we’re just doing to drive in. I meant paid parking too. My passengers will share fuel and a parking expenses. Train and MTA would add in the ballpark of 3 hours to an already 8 hour round trip.
We’re going to spend our consumer dollars at the event rather than have to use it on getting there and back.

Time is more important to me than money. We’re leaving the mutt home all day too so the sooner we can get back the better.

it’s two hours plus driving from my house, my plans are to start the trip about 7ish to take into account getting lost and parking😉

Hahahaha… glad you got the reference.

There are maybe four main streets in Boston and the convention center is right on Boylston, one of those main streets. So you have a one in four chance of finding it

Your best bet is to park in one of the subway parking lots outside of town and just take the train in.

maybe one of my son’s will lend me their GPS…

I like parking outside town…are the lots easy to find?

lol, I’m already getting anxiety about getting lost…

Yeah, they are very easy to find. Boston is such a small city (which is why locals say they are going into town and not into the city) so you’re always close to something.

Driving in town sucks because of all the one ways and the spider web like construction of the streets and parking in the city? Fuh-get-aboutit.

You will have no problem at all.

driving in any city is tough and I’m too old to play those games…I’ll happily let the train?, the subway? else get me into town and I’m sure there will be signage after that…

@kabongster yes Riverside station, it’s just off 128/I95. 900 parking spaces, $6 for the day, then 3.75 each way on green line, Hines has its own stop. I take this ride everyday for work, it’s a 30 minute ride to Hines, trains leave every15 minutes in Sundays.

Street parking is free in Boston on Sunday’s as well.

lol, I am printing those directions…Thanks!!!

I don’t want to drive in the city…one way roads and confusing streets…I would be in Boston and then out, lost.
