This is my first attempt at mainlining and when i do a lst i lollypop befor i put it in flower i was wondering if i could do it to a mainline plant or would it hurt the yeld
@ronnie_miller I feel that lollipopping in general affects the yield. I never remove fan leaves until late flower when they’re dying.
Maybe somebody else has a different opinion. Dunno.
I agree with @Covertgrower about not removing the fan leaves. I call them suckers or would be clones are what you want to remove. If you want bigger fruit get rid those suckers because they will drain the energy away from the head colas.
I agree with both above statements
Typically i pull anything off that i know is going to be larf or small buds that arent even worth trimming but being a mainline you have probably done removed the sucker shoots so if you want to remove the little buds that start to form you can but as stated i wouldnt remove any leaves
Thank u iv been wandering why my yeld on the last two i done was small on my lst plants i had someone tell me u get a better yeld with lollypoping it just didnt work for me iv tryed every was so far besides mainlining just seeing which way is best for me as they say the only way to learn is to try u learn from your mistakes
