I can relate to this. My previous grow was a GG4 auto. Grew into a monster. Unbelievably dense and tons of small branches. I should have thinned over time but didn’t know any better.
This is one plant. Lots of buds but small. I should have thinned them out I think)?

I have got to be doing something wrong. Mine are mid flower and aren’t as huge as your ladies. I have 4 autos the white widow has been stellar and easy to defol, the purple punch has been decent and really took off late, the dos si dos looked like the front runner but slowed a bit. That damn gg4 has been a bushy little bastard and seems like it does nothing when i defol. Comes right back. Lst all of them quite frequently but only the WW really showed its dominance. Weird.
