Can anyone tell me whats going on here

Leafs are doing funky curls

Can you post a grow ticket? Heat can cause up curling leaves.

Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so; Or post
NA (non applicable)

-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
-Age of plant
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
-Method used to measure PH and TDS
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night
-Humidity; Day, Night
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
-Co2; Yes, No

If growing Hydro some additional questions:

-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution

Looks like heat or low humidity, possibly both. That support ticket will help a bunch

Strain-banana biscoti seedsman (horrible choice of seed bank) photoperiod

Day of germination- 12-20

Potting soil with peat moss, perlite, and a 2gallon serving of gaia green in 5 gallons

Fabric 5 gallon planter

Ph of water is 5.9 i use only rain water

Indoor 3x3 tent but out in an unheated laundry room so use tiny space heater inside tent (its at the top right of pictures, and the water bottles are there to absorb the blunt end of the heat)

Mars hydro fc-E1500 full spectrum 150 watt at 60% about 18 inches from that plant 18/6 schedule

Have 4 in vent fan i use when it heats up or needs fresh air, and small humidifier, no co2

Its the top left plant in pictures

What type of potting soil (brand and type?) Have you added nutrients yet?

What is your runoff pH? 5.9 is too low for soil and can compromise nutrient uptake. Leaf edge curling is often a sign that the pH is incorrect.

Miracle grow potting soil and iv added the gaia green but not the whole 5 gal amount i put enough in for 2 gal and been boiling bananas and potato peels in rain water and adding molasses and waiting until the next day to use it on every other watering

I expect you have significant pH problems. Miracle Grow and cannabis don’t go so well together. MG has time release nitrogen pellets that nuke your plant with nitrogen and submarine your pH every time you water. Fox Farm soils, Coast of Maine, Black Magic, and Roots Organics are all good cannabis soils.

@MidwestGuy I’ve been hoping to get feedback from you re. a nutrient feedrate spreadsheet I created at Nutrient feed rate calculator - #3 by Venturi.

It does the calculations needed to implement the “1000 ppm” system you’ve recommended, including cases involving mixtures of more than one nutrient.

I’m hoping you’ll try it out and say whether I’ve understood your system correctly.

I’m all for precision when you’ve got a system that works in place. You’ve clearly put in a lot of work. Good stuff. I just kind of wing it myself. If I’m off a a couple hundred on runoff PPM on a particular feed, I’ll just add a little more or a little less based on the last feed’s runoff PPM.

I’ve gotten pretty good at it, but I have had a couple of plants in the past that were extremely hungry and I had to give them a double dose of nutrients to maintain 1,000 PPM runoff. Individual plants can have differing appetites for nutrients.

I just wanted to know if it does the calculations as you intend. If so, it’ll save anyone using the 1000-ppm system some trouble – especially if they’re using more than one nutrient.

The calculations aren’t complicated but can become confusing. The spreadsheet is meant to be a time- and error-saving tool for anyone trying to top-up to 1000 ppm (or any other target ppm) each time they feed.
