Day 39 - Almost time to start their training program. Getting a slight claw on the end of the leaves. I’m thinking it watering with cold water.

I hear room temperature is best. I wouldn’t know. I know the rain feels pretty cold.

Ya i have always heard room temperature to almost luke warm. Dont wanna shock em with cold or killem with hot.

Yeah, I tend to wait till they are wavin at me before I think to fill the jugs. No discoloration or bad looking growth otherwise tho so not too worried.

How wide is your scrog? I wonder how hard it will be reaching over and under the screen training it, checkin RO and such. I wonder how you flush those little freaks with them under the screenand all grown thru it. Im ready to try it but my brain starts getting anxiety when i think of all the technical difficulties to work out. Gotta get down on the knees and i hate that crap, it hurts dang it and i know its gotta be mire difficult for you my brother but im sure you thought it thru.:nerd:
Im following your journal. Im thinking of squishing my plants down under a scrog to give it a rough try to see if i like it. I dont know my plants are 3’ now and im about to switch them to flower.

This is 4’x4’. I have solid walls behind the side and back since the room is only 8’ long and 6’ wide and the tent is 8’x4’ so I can lean against them to reach the back corner. Also since the net is woven, not knotted, it is easy to reach thru.

I only have one leg so I have to take off my prosthetic to work under the net, but there will only be one time I really have a lot to do under there and that is when I clear out all the growth under the net once it’s done stretching.

Im such a stoner lol i asked you what size scrog and its in the title haha. Sounds like you have it covered. You Da Man. Your gonna get alot out of that size

You can bend the main stalk down to almost any height if you are careful. As long as it hasn’t barked up, that is. My Scrog is at 24" from the ground an 14" above the soil.

Strong suckers, too! They are really trying to stay upright, lifting the net.

So pretty. What size is your tent? I just ordered 3x3x7 and need to start thinking of Scrog net/stand.

My tent is 4x8x72. I bought it before I measured the room (which is 8x6). Had to cut it down to accommodate baseboards. I use half for my Scrog because I have to have the ac in the other side.

Just took my leg off for the day. Gets irritating after 16 hours. Crutching my way back past the room and looked in and they screamed at me! Thought they were not going to need water till the morning but Nooo, they wanted water NOW, dad. Man carrying gallon jugs of water on crutches is weird, kept pulling me sideways .

Sat with them for ten minutes and could actually see them lifting up like a time lapse. Was cool.

Wow i bet that is tough and awkward. Gonna get a blister on your arm pit and thats not good no matter where your from. Just an idea take it or forget it but you could get a reasvoir, or a 5 gallon bucket and put it near your scrog, then get one of those new light collapsible cloth water hoses and an adapter to connect to the kitchen or bathroom sink. Better make sure you have a shut off on the end of the hose or a way to secure it so it doesnt spray all over the place when you turn it on at the faucet and have to get back there on your crutch but im sure you can find a safe way to control that. Then u need a $ 10 dollar submersible pump like they use in ;ponds, fountains and water features… attach 4 or 5 foot of small hose (to water the plants with) to the pump and drop the little pump into your resavoir/bucket . So now you can ph the water in the resavoir before you plug the pump in and start watering. I also use my pump to mix up additives, just add them to the water, secure the hose and turn it on and they mix up very well. Once you have it all set up and the adapter on the sink, all you have to do when you need to water the plants and the resavoir is empty is hook up your light water hose and lead it to the resavoir and secure it . I would think a 5 gallon bucket would last you a week maybe. Hope it helps you or gives you a good idea that works for you. Scrog is lookin great Buddy! Makes me a little jealous lol
