What’s everyone’s thoughts on a bowl trimmer for harvest? Worth the money?

Not for pretty smoking buds. Very loose trim and it’s rough on the trichomes. I’ve seen it used most effectively for large outdoor harvests that are mostly going to be turned into edibles or tincture.

They do seem to butcher buds a little and cost some weight in final product. If you have so much that this doesn’t matter, then a bowl trimmer would make life a little easier.

I sold mine. My o2. Mine worked great for smaller buds and nice dense ones. For larger colas. It was pretty rough on mine. I sold mine to a friend that does out door grows and time was worth the rougher buds. I enjoy trimming though. At least for the first 4 hours. The next 4 are questionable lol

It seems like something that would make hours of trimming into minutes. I just know quality usually doesn’t come with speed.

I’ll probably wait until I don’t have the time to trim before getting one. Appreciate the reviews!

Girls are looking good. A little bit of yellow spots on a few leaves.

@JWhistler , Man they’re growing fast! How many days from seed drop?

Right at 3 weeks. Believe the middle one was on the 17th of august. The next 3 size wise came up the 18th. The smaller one was a week behind.

Try to remember to tag me before you buy one. A friend in the cc is getting the electric version. Not a bad price too.

Not a bad price at all. Wonder how good it does?

I think he will be testing it pretty soon. I know that he ordered it a little bit ago. Wait, he is here now and then. @ravenchief is the one that got it

Nice hope to hear a review. Price is good. Would make life easier come harvest lol

Hey Brian - I have already used it on 3 plants and it is FANTASTIC and saves time, work and effort - I use it as a first pass trim and do the whole branches - then I break the buds apart and put them in my bowl trimmer to further trim the buds and then I use my herbsnow dryer - If I wasn’t using the herbsnow I would just use the standup trimmer and hang dry the branches and dry trim after - I bought mine a few months ago from Vevor for $174 - I think they are going up in price. IT is a very very good investment.

Thanks @ravenchief Man, I have I been awol from the cc that long :astonished: I am almost finished with a side grow here and will get back over there pretty soon though. I may have to look into one. It probably would save me a lot of time as well. just do the final trim by hand. Butt they would be much easier to handle.

Thanks @ravenchief . I may have to get one real soon  My dog needs her teeth cleaned. So I am sure that will swipe close to a grand.

Most look good.

Have a little bit of yellowing. Had fans on constantly where most of the yellowing is on one plant. Changed to a 360 tower fan. Might be a little tall lol.

Yellowing around outside of leafs.
