I would run PH water at 6.0 to run off and test the EC/PPMs. Don’t top dress anymore and give jacks 321 a try, affordable, easy to manage and great for coco and cannabis :love_you_gesture:

I do have organic nutes in the coco so there’s that, I think I’ll just feed water and if the grow isn’t showing much good signs switch to hydro nutes I’ll have ready by then

It’s expensive as in Australia unfortunately,
Ppm out is 350

If the plants are less than 2-3 weeks above ground this is low. I feed 800ish PPMs from start to finish :love_you_gesture:

Traditional soil amendments in coco basically make an unreliable soil. N not necessarily a good one. Soil and soiless mediums “process” feed and water very differently. Mixing them up, can turn into a guessing game of what to do. Doesn’t mean it can’t be done, just going to be trial and error. I see a lot of posts about this mix, I’d imagine they got through their runs ok.

Growing in coco can be very simple, just needs to be kept wet. Introducing organic materials changes things a bit. How much? Who knows it’s really not common practice.

Ideally pure coco for once a day waterings, or 70/30 coco perlite(or similar) for setting up multiple feeds a day.

There is a lot of info and reasoning behind each method of fertigation.

What’s nutrients do you have? They could be mixed with water and applied in a liquid form?? :love_you_gesture:

I do the high frequency fert. I water 3-6 times a day with 550-650 ppm and have lights dialed up to 11 with GH nutes. it’s a bit of work though

Yea I like the sound of that approach! Gives me more time to interact haha this is addictive

It is cool if you have the time space and a little extra change in your pocket. I’m actually baking a batch of living soil now to compare the 2

A lot of coco growers utilize frequent fertigation. Which basically just means 1+ feed events per day. I start with one and get up to 5 by flower.

Here’s a coco chart I put together with high frequency fertigation schedules and ec targets. I do not follow the ec target chart, in my opinion the ranges are too high but. I go by PPMs and consistently feed in 700-850. Don’t like going past 2.0 ec in frequent feed.

Coco for cannabis is also a great resource to get you started. Between that and the fantastic info here you have a pretty good start.

I agree!

So I’m rrrrrripped right now and probably missed a lot. @Xvoid i saw you mention just water. Have you checked into organic supersoils? Coco is hard to do an organic grow with because of how much watering it requires. Organic supersoils, though, require minimal watering, just enough to keep the soil moist. The microbes in the soil will do all the nutrient manufacturing and pH’ing. Can get stinky though, but the buds are suppose to be ridiculously tasty.

if this was already touched on, forgive me. Again, I’m rrrrrrripped

Hahahaha nice, I have not looked into them but I’d imagine it would be hard for me to find in Australia or incredibly expensive, I’m not sure I’ll check

It’s worth checking out. I didn’t know you were on the big huge island, and I’ve read how difficult it iscan be over there when it cones to growing.

It’s not to hard apart from a couple of specific brands like fox farms but if your not going that exotic with your nutes there’s plenty to choose

Given the legal status of it in Australia which is only legal for 1 state there a not many local stores mostly online
