Check pH meter too, they slip out sometimes. If u can’t get temp down I always just add more airstones and pumps lol

Cool thanks guys. Yeah the good pump I have is in my box. This extra one i have only has one airway it’s not that great i need to buy another. Looks like I’ll be adding nutes tomorrow. I also have a chiller coming soon so water Temps will be stable. I want to build a bigger hydro tub too for transplant but I need a drill :frowning:.

Lol buy one. Like 40$ for a decent 20 for the cheapest one walmart has lol

Lol true I guess I could do that

So I created my own dwc buckets! The nutes were 300 ppm it kind of burnt the little plant but looks like the bigger one loved it. This is with advanced nutrients. Here is my new setup. I put the little guy into around 100ppm water. What ya think?

I don’t know squat about hydro but looks good to me. Wouldn’t have thought 300 ppm would be too much, good to know! @Noctis420

What did that little setup cost you?

The main expense was getting a drill with 2 inch circle saw blades. Only bought one pump I had a extra laying around but it’s still not that great so I’ll be buying another one. These buckets were the best I could find most of them they sell are transparent and 18 gall would be overkill lol so these are 4 gallons roughly.

Drill + blades $40.00
Pump $20
Buckets $4.00
=$65

If you have a drill this will cost next to nothing. @bob31
