Started in Ocean Forest. Bad bag. Opened it and bugs flew out. Boiled some water and soaked the soil. Got to make mud pies when squeezing excess water out to fill pot. Let set for 72 hours before she popped tail. New bag of soil is outside now. Been freezing here so hope that kills them.

Reading through your journal for first time but read about looking into UV lights and since I’m high and will forget if I keep reading and if you haven’t bought yet look up solacure flowerpower bulbs been using them for quite awhile and seem to up my game and inhibit mold etc during flower when I run them.
I think if looking into UV look at solacure unless the mainstream light makers have upped their game these were the most powerful and had the range of both UVA and UVB spectrums that nature provides outside.

That is horrible that your soil came infested!
I have had one with bugs and one that came back at 5.2 pH outta the bag. It never hurts to test your soil before you use it. I have been doing a slurry test now each time I open a bag.
Love it when the lil ones find religion early. Praying to the sun god.

Ocean Forest - Growing in a 2x2 under a MArs TS1000 @ 50%. Domed for another week. Opened 1 of the vents 1/4 turn to begin hardening her off to take on the world. Transplant 4 times so will not feed until final uppot to 10 gallon. Will give her treats as needed if she shows signs of wanting something during veg. Will move her to the big tent under the 350 Diablo here in a month or so when the DTC99 is chopped and dried. She is looking amazing. Cannot wait to try this one. She is at 24 weeks.

Even though I throw up pics during my grows, I am going to do a recap at harvest and do seed to chop pics so all can just run through all at once from now on.
Thanks for the Kudos. Did a final trim last nite and my hands smelled like Hubba Bubba and mint. I hope it stays smelling sweet and is tasty AF when cured.
The Zkittles going now I have not grown before and the next bean will be something new as well. Gotta get the bean box out and go through my options and let the wife decide. I wanted to do another GFOG in the 10 gallon but she wants me to grow a new strain. Even though GFOG has been her favorite to date.

I’m in the same boat you are with that one my friend. That’s how I talk mine into letting me grow. I told her I’d let her make all the decisions which ones get grown.
If I waited to do that I would shut ILGM forum down data overload . I kind of like the idea though gives you something to look forward to at the end of the grow

This mornings viewing enjoyment consists of a 2 week pic of Lil Zkittles. @JaneQP she is definitely a tough girl. Gonna be fine. Opened the vents on the dome to get her hard for the tent switch after I chop the DTC99 this weekend. Here is the baby.
And this is the last week for DTC99. Chopping Saturday morning pretty sure
It was -10°F this morning. Still made it to work. Ughhh…

What size pot is DTC99 in? That plant is insane. WOW! Nice job. I am looking for the right size planter to grow in.
She is in a 10 gallon. This is the first plant I have grown since I made that final pot size change. I am loving it. I have been getting lower yeilds than I wanted so have increased from 5 to 7 to now the 10.
Thank you for your encouraging words! I am so happy and never seem to lose the excitement when getting to this point. Below are my last week update pics.

And here is Lil Zkittles doing her thing. Almost 3 weeks old. Been removing the dome for a time each day so she will be ready to move into the big girl tent.

Pretty simple chop, Kept all the popcorn with the mains and hung em to dry.
This was my DurbanxCindy99 cross. She started putting out more white pistils so I turned the light down to the first click on and let het go a few more days. I am hoping this will be right at the peak of THC potency. I usually go 10-20% amber. As soon as I saw “some” amber show up, I decided to cut her down.
Here is one of the larger colas. She has quite a bit of new white pistils. Hope I do not regret my decision.

Just got some cool news. I started a BB Muffin from seed for a buddy. Started in soil til 6th node, he grows hydro so he pulled her from the soil and ended up getting a total of 24 clones from the 1 mother. In about 2 weeks, He is gonna give me one of my clones back. I will grow 2 plants at one time for the first time. Have to use 2 5 or 7 gallon pots as the 10 gallon takes up the whole tent. So 2 smaller yeilding grows. 1 Zkittles and 1 BB muffin. Gonna be a fruity smelling tent ina bout 12 weeks. I will finally have some stash to fall back on. To date, I am out 2 weeks before harvest on the reg.
