How much organic super soil and regular potting soil should I use in each 100 gal pot and what’s a good decent price regular potting soil? @Myfriendis410

Both yellow pots are BG, Small white circle cup is also BG and black single square pot is also BG. The 2 small square pot that’s attached to each other is Gorilla Glue Auto. The black circle pot is Holy Punch fem.

At first I wanted to do 1.5 cu ft hot soil and 1.5 cu ft regular potting soil. I don’t want to overdue it or use too less.

Auto flowers:

I only get one transplant from auto flower plants, I have had good luck starting mine in 5 gallon bags indoor, grow for 3-4 weeks 18/6 light cycle, then put outside, repot into something bigger.

Towards end of page below lots of good information.

The photo period plants will benefit from being grown indoor for several weeks, be careful with light and dark cycles, light leaks, et cetera.

I would pick a somewhat local organic potting soil, I grow organic.

So basically using 7 gal fabric pots was too much for my northern lights auto? With the photos and autos I always use organic too. Say if I get those 2 BGs in a 5 gal bucket about week 4 veg would the plant be harmed alot if I had transplanted the BG in 5 gal bucket straight to the 100 gal pot to have outside to flower the rest? @Big123 I’ve heard some people do it but I don’t wanna mess up lol

If I want to start a grow outdoors next year I would have to start germinating the seed November of this year or December of this year? I am also going to keep vegging 2 BGs til about 1st week of flower and transplant 2 BGs to 100 gal smart pots (if it doesn’t harm plant when transplanting) so basically I can just have natural light flower plants. Does this plan sound like a good idea??? Or should I veg for about 9 weeks then put them outside?? I had thought this way would be easier since hours of sunlight will be going down in few months.

3 Blue Gelatos are in Veg stage now. Transplanted all 3 to medium size pot. No roots were damaged and was very careful. Last Blue Gelato is still a seedling. Blue Gelato #1 and #4 are week 3 from seed. Blue Gelato #3 is 13 days from seed but looks more like it’s around same time the other 2 Blue Gelatos started. The final transplant for their forever homes will be done when GDP and NL auto are done so I can put the 4 Blue Gelatos in 7 gal fabric pots. Couldn’t get any pictures today cause I don’t want to bother them much when led lights are off.

@Konflict @Dman1969 @dbrn32 BG #4 is wilting. Any ideas what I should do and if this is caused from transplant shock or overwatering? Other BGs successfully got transplanted

Possibly trans shock. Whats the temp in the tent and how often are you watering?

I watered again today cause soil felt kinda dry and pot felt little light. 2 days ago I watered after I transplanted. @Konflict humidity stays at 60 to 70 percent and temperature is around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Just keep an eye on her and let her soil dry. If its trans shock. She should pick back up in a couple days

So don’t water it til her leaves get back? @Konflict I moved her more towards middle of led light

@Konflict has you covered. :sunglasses: :v::call_me_hand:

I usually water every 3-4 days. Best way I’ve found to judge is knowing the weight of a fully watered flower pot and a dry flower pot. Also use a finger and go about an inch or knuckle deep. If its still wet down below the surface then hold off on watering for another day or 2.

Okay. Thank you. I haven’t got used to waterings under led light lol another question more plants in 5x5 tent will cause humidity to go up right? @Konflict

Yes that is correct. The process of plants “sweating out” moisture is called transpiration, and it’s how humidity builds in the grow room . Plants transpire to cool themselves, so the more heat is present, the more plants will steam up the air. And because the plants are releasing moisture , they need more water—which increases humidity .

Well dang… That’s why my humidity is way up in 5x5 tent… My small NL auto is causing high humidity… it’s up now 99%… I already got 2 vents one inlet one outlet and not doing much. Don’t know if I should put it under led til rain stops and just put it outside or what. @Konflict where I’m at it’s not gonna stop raining til Thursday.
