Blue Gelato 41 grow journal 2 outdoors & 2 indoors

@Big123 so if Sept to Oct has about 12 and a half hrs of sunlight that’s when the plants will start flowering? Or will I be able to start June and finish around Oct to Dec?

I had forgot to ask but since I’m getting organic super soil 6 cu feet. 3 cu feet for one 100 gallon pot and 3 cu feet for the other 100 gallon pot. What kind of soil do I need and how much to fill the rest of the 100 gallons up? Basically doin half super soil half regular potting soil.

I have side question. What should the moisture level be? I bought a 3-way soil meter, moisture , light and phone levels. It list other plants. I didn’t want to do a Google search to look up plant compare able. I also have gelato. If you could help with PH if you know it. J appreciate your help

Welcome to the Forum! For my Blue Gelatos I have gave them 6.5 pH water. I haven’t checked soil pH yet. @Northernspark

They start flowering well before 12/12, some strains will start a few weeks after the summer solstice in July, all will be flowering by end of August.

I always grow my photo period Mary Jane plants so they start flowering naturally, and it starts in July/early August.

So basically if I started June it would end up flowering by August is that what your saying? I’m confused at the part where you said start July/August lol did you mean it starts flowering withing those months or when summer solstice starts. I would just do all the BGs indoors but I kinda don’t have much room in tent. I have 5 plants already in my 5x5 tent and about 7 plants vegging under 3x3 tent @Big123

@Big123 basically my climate is always warm too. Will I have to wait or have plants outside when there late veg? Is my best bet to have them 2 indoors til they get bigger then put them outside to flower? If so what month would I do this?

@Big123 I have just decided to just grow the 4 BGs indoors under 1k light in 7 gal fabric pots. I am gonna wait til close to end of year to start outside grow with other BGs. If Max yeild is 3000 grams and indoors is 700 grams do you think I can be able to get more than 700 grams indoors from 1 plant? I will have about 5 plants in 5x5 tent. I feel like it’s too late to put them outdoors.

this is the strain info. 4 months isn’t enough time outdoors correct?

I got it now when summer solstice comes that’s when they start pre flowering/ flowering. My best bet is leave BGs indoors and just have a auto plant outdoors? Correct?

I’m in California, last year I started photo seeds in the 1st part of May, all outdoor, in solo cups, then transplanted into bigger containers when each ready. A couple started flowering mid/late July, the rest started in August.

@Myfriendis410 and @Not2SureYet good at getting high yields indoors.

You will likely need to do a scrog and have an optimized environment.

This is dependent on how much actual daylight you get as opposed to indirect light (long twilight etc) and have some concerns for lights in your neighborhood that could upset flowering cycle. You don’t want them to hermi on you…

Okay thank you. When should I start germinating the other BGs to start outdoors? I do scrog nets and climate is really good. On the other hand I’m just gonna put one northern lights auto outside its in I think 4 gal or 3 gal pot. It’s week 3 of veg. About how long will it be done if I put it outside in direct sunlight? And do you think I will have a good yield in that size pot if I scrog it outside? @Big123

@Myfriendis410 about August or Sept is when it gets down to 12 hrs sunlight where I’m at.

Month of may daylight:

Month of June: month of July: Month of August: @Myfriendis410 @Big123 this is the information I got for the sunlight. There won’t be any neighbors lights. I live out in the country side nothing but acres of land so technically I don’t have any neighbors. If I take a picture tomorrow on where I would put them at will that help?

See if you can get an idea of how much sunlight is hitting your property as you need 10 hours to prevent flowering. It’s all relative light strength
