I went 3 months flower to get some amber on my 2nd grow.
This. I would be looking at trichs until the majority of pistils have receded.
I have read that GG4 is highly resistant to diseases but I know anything can happen. So it raining won’t drowned the plants? Also how many rain storms could it handle? Cause out of the rest of this week it’s supposed to have light rain except for Friday it’s supposed to have heavy rain. @Cannabian
@dbrn32 @Myfriendis410 So I was looking through forum and seen other NL Auto growers at week 10 from seed. Their plants buds are way bigger than mine. I am very convinced that I did something wrong like plant didn’t like transplant when it was younger or something. Do you think it’s because I transplanted twice or if it’s like genetics or I topped too much?
Could be all of the above. Could be nutrient or plant health issue too. What are you running for light? Imo it still has a lot of white pistils and will put on little more weight as well.
1k hps light. The smaller lower buds has both white pistils but orange pistils too. I looked under digital loupe on every single cola with bud tops 5 minutes ago. Doesn’t have a single clear head they all look like this. Guessing good sign?
@dbrn32
Sure. I don’t know about your harvest, plants typically do pretty well under 1k hps if everything is kept in order. At what stages did you transplant?
My GDPs are loving loving the light it’s doing fine it’s in same tent but co2 was over both GDPs. For northern lights auto I did from Sprout to seedling then when it got a little bigger
like early veg I transplanted it into 7 gal fabric pot.
@Cannabian you were absolutely right about the rain and 2 GG4 auto being outside they are thriving so much better indoors! One GG4 auto is already showing white pistils very small buds though. It does smell but a little bit. My other GG4 the smaller one that was stressed like low stress is healthier than ever. It doesn’t have any flowers yet but it does smell way stronger than the GG4 auto that’s flowering. Powerful scent I’m talking about. Maybe I’ll have really good luck this time.
very happy for you! Sounds like you made a good choice too.
Rain in this area is a problem for outdoor guerrilla gardeners. This area is a major outdoor area in BC, even still strains have been made to cope with mold resistance and colder climates. They aim to finish non covered weed here by mid September at the very latest.
I can go all the way to early or mid November in greenhouse, after that the clouds and risk of snow moves in and the returns arent large enough to keep growing due to lack of light. In general, ifbthe temperature isnt too cold rain isnt that big of a deal. Unless its 4 or 5 days in a row and weeks on end kinda rain then I would cover for sure.
Oh wow. Yeah the GG4 auto seem like their both doing fine even when humidity reaches 97% for an hour or two outside cause rain. Okay yeah it didn’t rain but once today very light then clouds went away I doubt im going to see rain tomorrow cause where I’m at the weather is really bipolar lol but I checked both plants no Hermie spots. With guerilla growing can you do it in a DIY greenhouse? I know the concept of it but don’t know much about it lol oh I had made a really big mistake on my Blue Gelatos under led light literally forgot to water them for 4 days… soil dried up the 3 blue Gelatos in 7 gal fabric pots were not stressed or anything still looked healthy but the one Blue Gelato that was in smaller pot well it wilted kinda bad but not too too bad if you know what I mean. I ended up transplanting it to 7 gal fabric pot today with moist soil. The way I transplanted Blue Gelato I put half roots organic soil on bottom of fabric pot got top of soil moist with super thrive and myco placed it in gently then fill rest up with roots organic soil. I had no other option but to transplant plant cause it was starting to get root bound. I kinda sure that she will survive since super thrive brings alot of plants back to life, I caught it at the right time and she is still young plant that’s in veg still. Transplanting that Blue Gelato when it’s wilted kinda bad will it effect plant worse since I had no other option but to transplant?
yeah of course you do a hill billy greenhouse! Called a poly tunnel, I did one last fall to protect a pot plant and some tomatoes in my garden
As the humidity rises in the rainy season I water less too. The ground actually absorbs humidity from the air and plants going into senescence are not needing as much water, they are actively dying at the end of flower.
With guerilla grow does it make plants grow alot bigger? I’m gathering materials to start building me a greenhouse first of January is when I’ll have a couple blue gelatos outside hopefully in 100-150 gal pots. I’m wanting a legit blue gelato tree That makes sense with the ground absorbing humidity from air and plants going into senescence. Greenhouse is kinda not alike than outdoors itself? With measurements on DIY greenhouse I don’t really know how wide I want it and how tall. I’m thinking 8 ft tall is to short? Oh when I had waited last NL auto by triches with high I wanted it sure did make GDPs swell up more since humidity dropped from 67-69% humidity to 45%. I checked triches on GDP and there are a few clear heads the rest milky/cloudy on both. They will be sitting under hps til some thc turn into cbn for couchlock. The leaves on top of cola are slowly turning purple too which is a good sign! @Cannabian
What makes plants grow big is good genetics, large root mat, proper ph, nutrients and water and a lot of sunlight, as well as good air circulation. The greenhouse is made necessary by a cold wet climate during flowering and is not needed in some parts of the world.
Okay I understand now. Question my Blue Gelatos are on week 4 veg I’m keeping them in veg til week 8 or week 9 then flower. I was thinking about having 1 blue gelato outside when I switch them to flower. Would that be a good time since daylight hours will be 12/12 or under by that time they are starting flower? Or should I just wait til January? Asking from you since you grow outdoors all the time and I havent and thought you would give me good advice on it or what I should do. @Cannabian
Have you done a runoff test?

Checked runoff? Yes 1070 ppm and pH balanced 6.4-6.5. I cannot get a good picture until lights are off. Strain is Blue Gelato, re ammended super soil gave it a dose of super thrive when wilting and fixed the wilting part within 2 days. She is in 7 gal fabric pot. Indoor grow under what it product says 2k led light. Ventilation system in it? No I have fan in tent and I have bottom side screen halfway up so the fan sucks fresh air in tent and blows it out other side of screen flap. It’s in 3x3 tent. I top dressed with fresh soil on top of all 4 blue Gelatos. Temps stay cool last time I checked recently it was at around 80 degrees daytime haven’t checked night time. Led light stays on 21 and half hours on 2 and a half hours off. No co2 gave plant molasses mixed with pH water also. Humidity was around 70-80% @Myfriendis410
@Myfriendis410 Nevermind I figured out what was wrong with it. It’s from LED light stress… The tips on other Blue gelato and even 1 GG4 auto (outdoors) has it. I didn’t Prune much in veg stage I just now started pruning little at a time now. I had moved LED light up made little difference. I do have another vent system but it’s in 5x5 tent with GDPs will it help if I put the second vent system in 3x3 tent? Since I the GDPs might not need a second vent system since theirs only 2 plants in 5x5 tent? How can I fix light stress? @Myfriendis410
