She isn’t in ffof she is in organic living soil.
ok scratch what I said then.
@AAA are you an organic soil grower? @Myfriendis410 you have any advice or opinions on this grow.
I have been giving her ST, myco and molasses. Same as GDP and the GDP doesn’t look like NL Auto. In a day the pistils went from white to red very quick. All the red hairs you see in pics wasn’t there yesterday or day before. Triches changed fast too. That’s what I don’t get. I really can’t have NL auto very much longer in tent. The way the GDPs are looking they are gonna be done before NL auto if it takes 14 week flower.
I’m sure its been asked and answered but do you have adequate lighting? If the power isn’t there then neither will the buds
It’s under 1k hps same with GDPs the GDPs are getting more co2 than NL auto. The only swelling NL auto gave me was when I cut 2 small colas. NL auto is very tall though. Taller than GDPs. The GDPs are swelling though getting bigger everyday. The 4 BGs I have in 3x3 are getting bigger to the point I’m gonna have to put it under hps soon enough too. GDPs I’m not worried about cause the way their looking they are getting close to harvest. @Konflict
Nowhere near dun yet. Let her ride!
I’m going to but can’t have her stay in tent for long time. Once GDPs are ready for harvest she is getting cut down too so I can move BGs in 5x5 tent. What I’m curious about is if triches are majority cloudy and some amber triches wouldn’t waiting more than 3 weeks make her change triches to majority amber? Around July 20th will she possibly be ready? @Cannabian @Konflict
When checking trichomes. You are looking on the bud correct? Not the small sugar leaf coming out of bud
Yes I check bud itself not sugar leaves or fan leaves. @Konflict thats why I’m confused on it being alot longer for plant to be done when the triches are majority cloudy and a few amber triches. I did transplant 2 times when it was younger. This might help this is GDP it’s still has few more weeks to go this one now is swelling everyday.
I said that bc I thought you was talking about the first set of pics. Go by trichomes and the desired effect you want.
I am wanting uplifting buzz but since NL auto is 90% indica and 10% sativa and say if I chop her down when triches are right for uplifting buzz will it basically be a mild uplifting buzz since it’s 10% sativa? Or does it not matter? I’m gonna see what happens with triches on July 20th 4 days before my birthday too. Now With my GDPs I want heavy intoxicating sedation buzz like get most out of them. I do know that with GDPs the buds will double it’s size more than what I posted pic like my GG4 photo did that’s why I’m leaving those 2 in for a bit longer. The good news about GDPs is that their leaves are turning purplish color. But maybe by July 20th the NL auto will get atleast some more swell if not then it’s fine. @Konflict Honestly I have been looking at this but for my photo GDPs for a a quick look guide on the swelling of the buds. I do go by triches is my main thing I go by though.
If they where mine. Id let them keep going. Ive seen posts on here where they kept them alive waiting for amber trichomes and the plant never gave them up
White pistils, keep going.
There is a thai, equatorial, that takes 6 weeks to veg and 16 weeks to flower. Flowering times can very from strain to strain as well as from pheno to pheno. So many growers try to stick to the same strains at least or clones Ideally to avoid this issue. If you are happy with the trichome state, by all means cut er doon, but be advised that volume and terpines may be lost.
So they wouldn’t reach couchlock at all? @Konflict
Are you talking about the GDP last pic I showed or both? @dbrn32 @Cannabian alot of terps will end up being lost or just some? Will it effect how you will feel on edibles?
a lot! Terpine production is mostly happening during the end of flowering… you know, when the bud is sticky and smelly! The terpines are being bottled up in the buds. When you cure your weed the chlorophyll is degraded and the terpines are left over and the full experience comes to life. If you harvest bud before it ripens, terpines arent fully formed and the bud might get you high but lack flavors or the high may be weak or no smell etc. All this said, you bud looks immature because it is still producing white calyx hairs, those will shrivel and dry up and production of them will slow or stop completely before the bud is totally mature.
This is still a bit early and notice the hair color
Oh okay. I had taken a better picture of NL Auto about what percentage does it have orange hairs? To me it looks almost 50% like 40ish percent.
I’m in a kind of a situation right now. So the 2 GG4 auto I have outside no cover at all from rain. Well right now it’s raining light and heavy for about an hour, hour and a half. I can’t move them inside. Do you think they will be fine? They are in very early stage of flower not showing buds at all. Will the rain cause it to kill plants?? I’m really hoping lightening didn’t hit metal cages around plants
Rain is normal for cannabis, huge fields of pot get rained on all the time! Rain from lightning storms is especially good, charged ions make plants grow like crazy! Of course hail is not so good, nor is day after day of rain, and rain in colder climates like mine can be a bummer, but I either put a poly tunnel up or greenhouse them. Someone on this site used umbrellas! Pretty resourceful! The odd rain shower is a good thing…
