Platinum Cookies maybe?
lots of good info packed in here… i didn’t think you could snap once flower started, as in… no more new growth, just stretching. but good to know!
no leaf touching- always seems to be on a top leaf. so let’s see what this fan does. i think it’ll solve most things.
here’s a bug. wasn’t sure where to even start IDing it. I caught three of them on sticky pads. finding eggs right now will be hard but i’ll look. was thinking to do either neem after lights out tonight or a shot of Nukem.
Too many strains on my brain. Think ill shut up now.
And this site is INSANELY good a group bug id’ing
You can keep tucking through the stretch.
Fungus gnat, I’m pretty sure. I wouldn’t neem them, now that you’ve started to flower.
i got some platinum cookies off the street that was pretty good. and yeah, it’s that ??? that i think keeps these seeds super hard to find and the only photoperiod platinum i could find was clone only out of CA.
DRAT i didn’t think i’d get those in coco
They like moisture. Let your pots dry out a little more, and they’ll dry up. They go for your roots.
oof, thanks for that quick ID! maybe i’ll skip the calmag feed? i don’t have to feed today. buddy just got here, gonna swap out those fans. so step one, skip the watering, step two, get that ventilation done. thanks again.
Sounds like you’re on it.
bigger, badder 6" hooked up. my buddy left and my house was smelling like weed and realized we hooked it up the wrong way so I just redid it and i’m OVER this aspect of the grow. “how many stoners does it take to screw in a 6” ventilation fan…"
i also have BT and diatomaceous earth, so will do that instead of the Neem.
Right on. That’s where getting good quality equipment comes in. That way, you don’t have to mess with it for a while.
Looks like your dialing everything in. Your second round will be much smoother.
#$!. temp is down beautifully but the humidity is still 65%. the whole house is pretty humid now so all the fans in the world probably won’t get it down. I have a tiny dehumidifier i can put in the tent. i’ll probably grab an inkbird. they make a wifi one for temp but not for humidity. i wonder if they’re going to roll one out soon.
You’ll want to dehumidify the whole room, not just your tent. Your tent is constantly exchanging air from outside, so in the tent the humidifier would be working against the humid air being drawn in constantly.
Or just trim the hell out of them and keep the air circulating around them and say F it. Once it starts to cool off, it’ll dry up, too most likely.
oye that totally makes sense. dammit. i’m pulling the air from the hallway because it’s cooler, not from the room. i see a dedicated space for this looming. wish i didn’t have to spend all my pennies on my stupid fence and security- may have blown my budget for the little mudroom extension which was gonna be a small but good space for this. i did just get an oscillating fan a minute ago, though i have no idea how i’m gonna mount it. couldn’t find any clip oscillating fans.
Have a look at a VPD chart. You’re actually not far off:
Got duct tape?
At any rate, don’t stress! This is all a crash course/learning experience right now. You’re doing great, and you’re working on the problems you have solutions to, and coming up with solutions for those you don’t. You got this
wow thanks so much. that was a lot of info and learning today. so very much appreciated. i’ll just get a little more airflow going and reassess once the buds start forming. you’re right that this heat also can’t last forever. it’ll start cooling off in september. hopefully the gnats haven’t snacked on the roots by then (i applied the BT)
all this terrifies me for the ladies i have outside. i’ll be crushed if we make it six months and then they rot. IF i do this again outside next year definiately waiting a month so flower doesn’t hit til september.
and that video on VDP was amazing.
