I haven’t put it here, but I have one somewhere. Let me find it. I have only made this recipe twice, but I like it, a lot.

I was going to spend some time tinkering with it before sharing on this thread, but here you go:

I do. Jewels already has it.

I haven’t written it up nicely for the forum, but here it is:

Honestly, now instead of œ cup budder, I’d add 2 grams of concentrate to the chocolate and 1 gram to the pb mix, and probably nix the added butter/oil.

Hit me up with it; I’m due to make another batch this weekend.

I’ve been using the Better Homes and Gardens ‘Cake Brownie’ recipe and the last batch I did with some dark chocolate: best ever. I like that recipe because it’s the only one that uses 6 oz of butter.

You know I do

Fudgie 420 Bites
Makes 16 servings

1 cup dark brown sugar
8 ounces 63%+++dark chocolate (chips, chunks, cut up bars, etc)
2 tbsp water or strong coffee
1 tbsp instant espresso powder
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract (1 tsp if using Mexican vanilla)
1 cup all-purpose flour
Πtsp baking soda
Πtsp salt
Weed Component:
œ cup butter with 2 grams decarbed cannabis oil
OR
œ cup budder/cannacoconut oil

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F and prepare an 8" or 9" square baking dish by covering it with foil, then greasing it (I use non-stick foil, myself). This lets you lift the brownies out of the pan for cooling and cutting.

  2. In a double boiler or in the microwave, CAREFULLY melt together the chocolate, sugar, weed components, espresso powder, and water/coffee.

  3. Mix in the eggs, one at a time.

  4. Mix in the vanilla.

  5. Whisk together the 3 remaining dry ingredients and pour into wet ingredients. Mix quickly and carefully, using 15-20 QUICK STROKES.

  6. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 16-20 minutes. Toothpick inserted will come out with a bit of fudge on the tip. The sides of the brownies will start pulling from the pan.

  7. Remove from oven and cool in pan for about 30 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.

  8. Cool completely then cut into 16 squares

I really like the strong coffee idea instead of water for the liquid. Nice touch. Sounds good.

Whats the best way to speed up the evap of the ethanol after the final shake when doing QWET? About to finish up and getting impatient! Ive taken pics and will post process and results when done!

A heating mat or a warmer burner. Don’t allow the fluid temp to go over 105ish. Make sure you have good ventilation.

Ok thanks for the temp specs. I was about to do a double burner :flushed:

QWET
Used Bettys method on 31g on leftover commercial bud. Decarbed as directed. Took almost a 5th of Everclear to wash. After final shake I filtered through cheesecloth. Waiting for evap now to test. Looking super muddy, probably from the large screen on the cheesecloth.

The first scrape of the big pan yielded a brown chalky substance totally different from the oily goo Im getting now. Is it just plant matter from shaking so hard and not filtering good enough?

Theres some milky residue showing up now that is supposedly water since the alcohol was only 95%. Im hoping that clears up soon, otherwise it seems pretty successful so far yield wise.
I know this is made to be ingested since its been decarbed and everything but would it hurt to smoke some to test potency?

The very bottom of the extract is a whole other layer of a red/beige powdery looking substance. Is this different from the rest of the stuff. Any help on identifying what is what would be appreciated.
Will pesticides or other additives that may be on the bud make it into this mix?

Since your filter wasn’t really great, that’s most likely empty trich husks and plant matter.

If you started with weed with pesticides on it, your oil will be contaminated.

I wouldn’t smoke this, but you definitely can try.
