Best strain for making Rick Simpson oil

Planing my second grow. I will grow 4 plants, all for making cannabis oil. (Rick Simpson) Does anyone have experience of this? What strain to use? I understand you want at least 90% indica.

@Swede4weed there are actually better methods to make oil that works better the Mr Simpson’s oil and the reason it does is because you won’t lose any of the goodness and goodies that are in the plant I have done both several times and this method works actually really to well it will get you hospital high and lubricate your body

When done correctly, this recipe will take 10 days

First you must decarboxylate your raw material. Use the whole plant minus the roots. This will give you the highest medicinal effect.

Heat oven to 200-212 degrees. Put desired plant material in a mason jar and seal the top. Put jar in oven for 45 minutes.
After decarboxylation remove from oven and let it cool over night. This will allow the terpenes to absorb into the plant material.

Fill this jar with Organic Coconut Oil. Fill to the top of the jar covering all the plant material.
Cook in a water bath at 118 degrees for 5 days. Stir occasionally.
Remove from water bath and filter Coconut Oil. Squeeze the material to remove all the oil.
Re-fill the jar with new oil and heat for an additional 3 days. Remove from water bath and filter.

Now add Sunflower liquid Lecithin. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons to one cup of coconut oil.

This can be used as an oral or topical solution. Enjoy.

It will blow your mind

I’m always looking for new methods and new stuff to try. Can’t wait for the first harvest so I can start messing around with making my own edibles and tinctures :grimacing:

Sorry to but in @Hogmaster but how would you use this? In capsules, in food, is there a taste? Can I decarbonise my plant material in my ardent lift decarboxylator and can I do the rest in my butter maker? I mean I don’t really know what kinda range that machine has so I might as well ask, and as you brother really seem to be the man that knows

Never Used a butter maker only done stuff the old fashion way you can do it With a sous vide cooker in the jars that way none of your good stuff gets out you can use it with butter I prefer the oil use it topically or Cook with it make cookies with it but you have to decarb your material before making final product

Unfortunately im unsure about the water bath. You say to cook 5 days, so how many hours per day? Also when you refill & do water bath again how many hours? Sorry but my lil brain cant figure it out. Also all plant material? Ie: stem ect.
I made an alcohol tincture but not enough. Got more in works but your recipe is auicker & probablt tastier.

24 hrs a day 5 days The sous vide cooker’s you can set them up for up to four days and you can use hole plant then strain fill the rest of way with oil cook 3 more days

What does everyone think of Green Crack for RSO? This was recommended by Crop Kings Seeds. Have asked many what they recommend?

Does it actually have the healing properties as described by Rick?
