What are the best type of soils to grow Grand Daddy purple, indoors, grow tent? I’ve used happy frog but it seems to be a nat attraction .
Prepare for a lot of replies John…
Roots organic original has been my go to for years. Good water retention, light and airy and buffers ph really well. Never had any compaction issues with it either.
Another Roots Organics Original fan.
Straight coco coir.
I’ve used FF Happy Frog for 4 years. Coast of Maine, Roots Organics, and Black Magic are also good options.
Gnats are a symptom of overwatering.
I like built verses bought cause you can customize it to your needs
I have to agree. Been using Roots and Jacks with absolutly zero issues of any kind since i started using it 5 grows ago. Thanks again for the recommendation Bobby D.
Roots Organics 707 is great, if my hydro store ever has it again. Or you can put in a little extra work and get some washed, unbuffered, expandable coco bricks.
From what I’ve read here over the last several months, using a mix of 75% rinsed and buffered coco coir and 25% perlite (with Jacks 321 from germination to harvest) looks like the growing medium/nute system option that’ll be most likely to allow a problem-free grow. Am I reading this correctly or am I missing the boat?
Walmart has roots organic 77 online.
