I usually just top my res off once a week, with water and nutes, if they look like they need em 
I’ve done the bubble buckets and they can be a real PIA but have to give em credit they do work but, too much work for me

I think for 2 or 3 plants they are ok.
I have 6 babies and it will work me to death.

That pump your using. Is that an off the shelf our does it need to be ordered?

I ordered it from a vendor that I can not list here. I have a list of where I got everything. I wouldn.t skimp on the pump. It leaves room for expansion. My first system less than 1/4 power setting, 6 grow totes less than half power setting

I got a ppm question.
So I’m still in this dang bucket for now.
My plant is drinking water like crazy.
I check ppm when its low and it jumps to 1300.
I can level that out some by adding just ph’d to water.
Is that what I need to be doing. I dont want to through this nutrients mix unless I have too

@Hydro921 if ever my ppm goes to high I just open system and use a cup to scoop some water out and replace with straight ro water.

Adding clean ro will bring it down slowly. Removing a few cups and adding clean ro lowers it faster. Depends on situation.
