Best LED grow light for a 4x4 tent

Should have read the entire thread but no!

They are pricey, but there are way more expensive lights in that size range. I think HLG are the perfect price point for anyone that wants to grow good dope! Anything less is just not well spent money.

You already know my answer…HLG.

Filter inside the tent 2 foot of duct to the fan 2 foot of duct to the window

@SKORPION and does it smell out side?

Nope I was outside the other day attaching some screen material over the duct to keep bugs from trying to get in and couldn’t smell a thing.

I am just going to let it duct into my basement. If I want to duct out my option is the chimney through a 25cm thick concrete wall.

There have been people that vent into other rooms of the house or into the attic both will work. Just make sure it is far enough away cause it vents out the heat too.

Ya the room is 4x4 meters. I think it should be ok it is cool down there and if not I will need to figure through the wall.

I use a chunk of blue foam insulation in my window and cut a hole in that. I put a screened dryer vent in the hole and tape my vent hose to that. You can run vent hose a fair distance before you lose significant airflow. Even with the carbon filter, some stink inevitably escapes, like when you open the door etc. In the winter when my plants are kids they dont smell much and Im growing lettuce and tomatoes too, I often vent directly into the house to add moisture to the air as I burn wood for heat.

If I where you I would research some different ones on amazon and you could find way better quality for around same price you could also look at the bestva lights and the viparspectra I have both and they work great granted I use them for supplemental lights but hopefully I don’t get booted or something for giving this advice? Lol Also I just looked at that light you got and it’s only a true 260 watts

That is only a 260w light, typical Amazon Blurple light. And with that 260w you probably only have 1.2 micro mols per watt. Save your money and buy something else.

The light I suggested?

No I need help understanding all of this more Im fairly new and did a lot of research and thought this whoel time I have had a great light, I know the power it uses(takes in) is only 260 watts, but because its LED it’s supposed to be able to put out more than it takes in, and puts out the 1500. Am I correct or has all my research been for shit… I have garden lights 4-40watts (tubes) would that be a better output?

The best lights for a reasonable price is the HLG 260xl rspec x two for a 4x4 tent. Sure it hits the wallet ut you will get a lot more weight off each plant. I grow Super Monsters indoors with two of these lights in my 4x4x80” tent. :+1:

They get the “1500w” from using 100, 15w leds. But they don’t actually drive each diode at 15w or they wouldn’t last. They’re driven at less than 3w each. Much like a car that drives off the lot at 200hp. That motor could put out 400hp with just a computer tune. But the motor would not last long so it’s tuned down at the factory for reliability.
