Believed to be late stage of manganese deficiency

Plants were green and healthy until week 4 of flower now at the end of week 6 and they’re looking pretty rough, the buds look okay it’s mainly the sugar leaves and the fan leaves are all dying necrotic dead spots started off as brown spots but it’s not a fungus. At first I thought it was calcium magnesium deficiency then botrytis but after much research I’m landing on manganese deficiency. I’m growing in Fox Farm Happy Frog through veg and I transplanted them to Fox Farm ocean Forest in flower. I fed them once in veg 3 part General Hydroponics and again I fed them once in flower beginning of week 6 General Hydroponics 3 part. I feed 2 mL of Cal Mag and 4 mL of Botanicare sweet every watering using r/0 water ph to 5.8-6.5All parameters are dialed in I’m sitting around 45% humidity at about 72 degrees Fahrenheit with a fluctuation of about 5 degrees at night. My question is this is my first grow and I don’t know whether to harvest them early because of the problems I’m having with the leaves or let them finish. The Strain is super skunk from ilgm

Hell no to harvest early

Let them finish and do your best to address the issue but your too close IMO to give up just yet

They usually look rough in the end but I agree you have something else going on too

I don’t have an opinion on what the deficiency is( I agree it does look like what you think, but I simply don’t know for sure)

@Hellraiser @Graysin @Covertgrower
These guys opinions will help as I am totally unfamiliar with the nutes you have going on

Thanks for the response and I am inclined to keep going just like you said until they’re ready to harvest. And I forgot to mention that the brown spots are what appeared on the leaves first at end of week 3 into week 4 then the leaves started dying with necrotic dead spots and what looks like tip burn. ABG(always be growing)

Often a sign of too much nitrogen.

Only one of your pictures uploaded, but the one that did looks like an old nitrogen toxicity.

That’s one thing to keep in mind, old growth is old problems
If you have corrected issue, a big if I know, then the new growth tells the tale
If new growth looks good, then you are on track

This is a general statement but a good baseline to go with

Bump that up to 6.5-6.8.

I’m leaning toward Cal/Mag (Magnesium specifically but my eye is not that great for diagnosing leaf issues)

Anyway more than anything correct your PH. Add all your nutrients to the RO water, then PH. You might try PH up’ing to around 6.6-6.8. I suspect what you’re facing is a lockout of the magnesium (and/or others) because you’re giving her a PH range closer to what you’d want in hydro, rather than soil. It’s just a suspicion.

Also I’d water to runoff and then introduce the PH & nutriented water.

Yep. This is the truest of trues. It feels redundant sometimes but it sure does paint the clearest picture.

The next three waterings which are about 3 and a half days apart I’ll be giving them only RO water with 2 ml of Cal Mag and I’ll do like you said pH in the water at 6.7. I’m so late in flowering I’m determined to see this through. I’m on day 40 of a 56 day strain super skunk ilgm. Trichomes are still clear right now

Yeah, that’s the concern. If trichomes aren’t fully developed your plant may be cannabalizing faster than she can mature!

I agree with mr_wormwood dont harvest them give some Epsom salt and keep growing them

Looks like a deficiency of everything, plants are hungry. A couple good feeds with proper ph and lots of runoff (mini-flush) could go a long way to keep the yellow death away a little longer.

Plant is hungry. I would suggest supplementing with a cannabis-optimized flowering nutrient line.

This may or may not be quite enough to flower out the plants FYI.
