Now that you saw the root, LEAVE IT ALONE. Too many times we love our plants to death. Here before too much longer, she will take off. These pictures are 2 days old. In this first one, seeds were dropped September first.

These seeds were dropped August first. One month earlier, see the difference

Once those roots get down in the water and start feeding good, she will explode

@Grandaddy013 what kind of water do you start with? Is it chlorinated or filtered first? Saw @Myfriendis410 mention he was building a system that last 10 days and it sparked my interest.

I use county water and a water treatment

Aqueon Aquarium Tap Water Conditioner, 1-Gallon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00176AYTI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YSELDbNTPG3EB

I let mine go longer than that. I’m not sure how big @Myfriendis410 's reservoir is, but that can make a difference.

I bought a filter system but never installed it. Seemed like a lot of waste to me. I’ve used well water, creek water, and county water with the conditioner. The reason I use county water now is simply convenience. It seemed to me like they all worked equally well, so I went with the easiest. That water conditioner is only 2.5ml per 5gal water

Yeah I would have to use city water. In skilled I’d be able to design and assemble it. Everytime I go to home depot I see those yellow lid containers.lol

I’ve been using the conditioner for over a year with no problems. In a 50gal system for over a year, and I still have 1/2 a gallon or more left. It eliminates your chlorine INSTANTLY.

@Grandaddy013 good morning!
Baby girl is growing her roots into the Rez. Her third set of leaves are about to open up. Just monitoring ph right now really. Holding steady around 6. Trying to not love her to death :crazy_face:
