Basement growing

You slso need to clean humidifiers regularly because they are disgusting with mold and crud. Keep in mind 2 percent bleach solution is always a good idea every once in a while to keep mold from being an issue.
I just look at a boat stored in a moist environment over winter, any food bits or leafy matter or any organic material at all is food for mold. Remove the food, remove much of the mold. The spores however are pretty difficult if not impossible to eliminate. Really good air flow and removal of stagnant humid air is the main thing, after that its all about good housekeeping.
As for newbie answers, that depends by what you consider a newbie? The best thing is to ask yourself if whats being written makes any sense. Other than that, the guys and gals on this site will likely not heart an answer thats wrong or sucks. They may correct an answer in a tactful manner as it is frowned upon to be a dickhead on this forum even if the person may deserve it!

@kemuzik101 humidity is recommended to be under 40% during flowering. Your biggest enemy is going to be not enough warmth.
