You know, after I smoke, my thoughts do the same thing. Hopefully not too many here think I’m weird or scatterbrained. I read some of my posts from months ago and I think THIS MAKES NO SENSE lol. Luckily everyone here Is high, or enough are high that we’re not standing out too bad lol

We all fit right in with each other. My fingers misfire all the time and I can get pretty scatter brained at times… usually when highly medicated aka stoned out of gourd :joy:

:joy: yep, that’s bound to happen especially if posting while stoned. Thankfully this is a very forgiving
non judgemental group that any funkyness via misspelling or sentence structure actually winds up being part of the charm and more often than not quite funny

I have a lot of posts that I read through 10 times trying different inflections to make it sound right. Sometimes I get it right lol, sometimes I just leave it alone and hope the next guy sheds some light on what they’re asking.
I do love being a part of this group of very nice and knowledgeable people with VERY SIMILAR INTERESTS lol

That’s the bad part about writing something. Unless your Poe it’s hard to create the emotion your trying to portray lol

I have an English degree. I judge all you potheads’ grammar mistakes, including my own, harshly.

We are a very charming and funny group, though. :grinning:

Also, I decided to make a small pass through vent from the grow room to the living room (just behind my flue pipe and whole house filter). I will attach my tent exhaust hose to it, venting the 80F tent air into the living room. As long as the new filter I’m installing does its job properly, this should solve my grow room’s daytime heat/rh issues.

I’m also going to use a convection panel to heat the tents’ intake air during lights off. The panel will stand 6 inches from the 2 main passive intake vents; the heat will only come on when the temp drops too low.

I’m really trying to get my room’s environment dialed-in so hitting the correct VPD won’t be a struggle.

I haven’t asked permission to cut a hole in the wall. I’m just going to do it and then deal with the consequences of my actions. :joy: The extra heat for the rest of the house should be a good trade-off…as long as my carbon filter doesn’t betray me.

In that case I will use my get out of jail free card…English is my second language  (never fails)

That’s a neat little trick, plus recycling heated air is a win win, I guess no issues w odor due to the filters in line right?! I gotta read up on that VPD I’ve seen mentioned here.

I can tell a huge difference in trichome production this round since I’ve been so adamant about my VPD. It definitely pays off!

When I take a break, I’ll try to explain it in my own words. :grinning:

Here’s an old explanation, when I was first learning about VPD.

My old way vented out the top, blowing hot air directly towards my ceiling. Fairly certain that’s one contributing factor to the condensation issues in our “cold roof” the past couple of winters. Also, by just venting it into the room, it has made temp control hard.

Why has it taken me so freaking long to do this? I didn’t want to do anything like this because I am sure my wife wouldn’t approve, but I think one smallish hole in a very inconspicuous place, with a nice vent cover won’t be too big of a deal. Especially if it helps with the “cold roof” and heating the living room.

Will use an elbow either up high or down low. I only bought one.

Will remove the louvers while in operation.
