@blackthumbbetty You piqued my interest in Nectar of Gods products and it got me doing some research. From what I understand they would like to see the pH run a little higher with their product. When you last fed you if I remember correctly, you were at a pH of 6.2. ProMix recommends running in the high 5’s for pH with their product. Are you concerned about your pH getting too high? Or, does your mix of ProMix, happy frog, coco and perlite let you get away with higher pH levels?

Love this journal. Definitely one of my favourites. These girls will no doubt look amazing come harvest time!

Nope. I worked very hard over 3 grows to dial this all in. I have found this out by experience, not just reading packaging.

The microbes and organics allow for a lot of pH leeway. The Earth Juice has very specific pH directions. Most Promix cannabis growers seem to go with 6.0-6.5 pH. I tried low and high. Now I let the microbes do their job and don’t worry too much.

That is also just my input. Bet anything my medium would test out at about 6.7 now. That’s how it’s gone the last few grows. So, I go in low, now.

Promix is supposed to be pH balanced to keep things low, but with the stuff I run, it seems to swing high. I guess out of the bag, it runs in the mid-5’s, but it does have lime for pH buffering. Promix is also known for its pH swing, which is actually a good for your plants, as long as the swing is in range.

My first grow using all these grow parameters was a major learning curve, because I was trying to follow the rules of each product, rather than looking at it holistically. Now, I think I can confidently say that I understand how the products and mediums I use work together synergistically.

6oz trim made 100 caps. Will probably need 2 caps per dose. Made using a pressure cooker. Cooked for
1 hour total, with 3 stir breaks.

I made coconut budder first. I used the pressure cooker and cooked it for an hour, so I didn’t decarb. From start to finish, only took 90 minutes. 6oz trim, ½ cup refined coconut oil. No added water. Nothing else. Each cap has a .9ml capacity.

I actually pop them into coffee.

Wery cool Betty, how do you store them to maintain freshness, in the freezer?. is the budder warm/liquidy when you fill the capsules?
