I have only ran one strain twice but I think if you were running the same strain you could most definitely fine tune your grow much better. Autopots five me a great grow with little to no work. I work away for 2 weeks at a time, so without this system I wouldn’t be able to grow and yet I grow big plants. Anyways trim jail for me for now.

Can you really leave these systems run unattended for a while? I’m sure two weeks is a bit of an extreme case but is a week unattended feasible?

Totally fine, I do 2 weeks at a time on a regular basis these days.
The first 14-20 days you need to top water until roots grow big enough to reach the bottom. Once they are big enough system goes on and with a controller and a good environment. You can do a week at a time, adjusting your nutrient scedule and rez once a week also adjusting your lights.
Come stretch is a struggle though you almost need to be there to move lights every 4 days. Min.
If I had more space I woild grow a plant from day 20- harvest without touching it. I would just mix up a giant rexervoir of Jack’s with a PH adjuster in it.
