Hello growmies!
I am a beginner, on my third grow.
Can absolutely not keep it simple.
Found out about Autopot and stubbornly decided to use soil. I can confirm the XL pots with soil/leca wicks well, as the soil is ”not dry” 2 inches below the surface.
I went with 70/30 soil/leca, contrary to pretty much the whole internet. Its peat moss, compost and sold as vegetable and herb
Used a generic 5-1-4 nute during veg(the 1000ppfd and extra CO2 seems to allow for extra nutes) and now in flower Cannas Terra Flores 2-2-4 plus CalMag, 50ml per 10L. Will increase as she seems strong.
Inspired by Autopotamus, I tried ”no defoliation/lst” and only tucking during veg. Did initial lollipopping when flower was starting, going for lowest/tiniest bud sites. And I had to pull branches down and out to open her up. The top stopped and a canopy formed. Will just let her go now, selectively removing singular leaves growing inwards and such.
