Autoflowers didn't sex until 6 weeks?

I have two Strawberry Cough autos which sprouted exactly 6 weeks ago. They were under a crappy blurple LED for a month and grew very slow in small pots.

At four weeks, they were put under a 1000 watt MH and grew very nicely, healthy green color, and today they are 12-13" tall and just produced pistils today.

Since autoflowers are supposed to be done and will die at 60 days total, does this mean I only have 2 weeks left for flowering and then that’s it? I’m hoping since the flowering onset was delayed I could get more time???

This is not the case.

Autoflowers will generally flower at some point between 4 and 7 weeks. You’ll occasionally see one go a little longer before flowering.

The cited flowering times are just that, flowering times. The cited time estimate doesn’t start until pistils first appear at the tips of the plant. It does not include veg time.

Great! So not even 60 days from today. Thanks!!!

Keep in mind that this is just an estimate. Actual time will vary due to genetics, phenotype, environment, and so on.

Cannabis is generally fit for harvest at some point between 8 and 10 weeks (56 to 70 days.) The time may go a little longer if you want amber among your trichomes.

Nope and nope.

Your plant will go through a vegetative stage. Once it goes into flower, it will take a few months to mature. It won’t die per say, but it will be ready to harvest at about 8 weeks of flower…
