When I on the RDWC with one reservoir I couldn’t maintain ph or nutrient level very well. So I went with a two reservoir set up, with a supply and a drain reservoir. Hooked both together with a drain tube and a ball valve. This allowed me to refill the supply reservoir from the drain reservoir by opening the valve. This made it much easier to maintain ph and nutrient levels.
Cool! Love when things can be simplified.
I run high frequency fertigation system. Top fed in coco/perlite. It’s mostly self managing. From the RO reservoir, to the Nutrient reservoir, to the run off. ![]()
Thanks for all the great info. Please advise me on my current grow. Any advice welcome - #68 by Daves_not_here
@Low, just finished watering and all still ok. It’s a one piece blow molded design. Seems to be working so far but way too early. I may get a second one and nest them together and build a skeleton frame around them for support. I run the wave maker full time when watering then on for 1 hour and off for two. Checked my EC prior and it was still on, adjusted PH slightly.
@Ickey , good idea. Old cooler never crossed my mind.
I also love to repurpose stuff! To much gets tossed.
