Happy Cannaversary Madame Butterfly ![]()
Hmm. The leaves do to me
Thanks @kaptain3d and @Growmoredank. Wow, that 7 years went fast. ![]()
Evangeline is still looking droopy. I checked water content in the soil and it is still wet in the middle. I put another fan in the tent hopefully it will help dry her out.
Thank you so much - appreciate the help !
Thank you for the help. I have an indoor Gardyn for herbs and lettuces, so was going to try and pop them there since it’s climate controlled as well. I’ll move them outside again this year to finish off - last year my “compact” seeds that I had purchased to grow indoors ended up well over 6’ tall outside. Some of these seeds gotta be over a decade old - so here’s hoping !
@Mucluc Evangeline certainly doesn’t look happy. I sure hope she snaps out of it for you. Maybe a root issue ? Or just to wet ? Ive got a Jelly Donutz thats definitely got some type of root issue. It never took off after transplant into 7 gal cloth pot. Ive been thinking to pull it out and see whats up with the rootball. Not Like it would hurt anything at this point.
Just realized that was from April…hahaha
Evangeline’s clone is the bigger of the 2 plant I have now. So I guess she is doing great
.
I have a issue i need some advice with i have 2 girls and they are both going thru their own issue 1st the super lemon haze has what i think is a calmag issue more so a magnesium more than a calcium, its all occurring in the large shade leaves i dont want to add a bunch of calmag and it not be the problem so im looking for advice before doing that..
I have done the full rinse and got the ph on the runoff to 5.5 , goibg in was 6.5
So here i have a london pound cake the leaves have a burnt orange look to them and the plant itself is very stretched never the less the older leaves are the ones dying off at an alarming rate not sure what this could be
It does look like a Magnesium deficiency…can you post some picture of the whole plant…will give us a better idea of what is going on.
Yes, please post pics of the whole plant/s. The bottom pic is a different issue… that is a root/ph issue… possibly over-watering? And that ph is low too for soil. Is this an outdoor grow? What kind of soil? Nutrients? Watering routine?
I will take some pictures of them this evening i will post them about 6 pm central time
Yes its an outdoor grow , happy from fox farm soil , i water when the top 1 inch gets dry thats about every other day where im at i feed once a week with fox farm trio per the feeding schedule provided by ff
@Caligurl good catch on the ph.
@Moms_little_budmaker plants do not like their roots to be constantly wet. If they are in pots, The best way to tell if they need water is to lift the pots. If they are light, they need water, if they are still heavy…they don’t.
looking forward to the pictures.
Phenotypical variation is a pain in the butt. I’ve noticed the best way to the best weed is regular seeds. Yes you could end up mostly males if you have bad luck. Or you could end up with a nice split. But at least there isn’t so much herming involved. Pheno hunting is something I would love to do but I’m at a 6 plant limit so that is out of the question.
Only waiting for the top 1 inch to be dry is way too wet. It should feel dry,dry up to about your 3rd knuckle. Ph is low so ph combined with over-watering will lead to a lot problems.
I used the FF trio for a few years and was constantly chasing deficiencies/toxicities… switched to @Roadsideorganics.ok and I only deal with minor deficiencies that are easily remedied.
Do me a favor and run a soil slurry ph test. You’ll want to get down low in the pot. I use a boba tea straw
