Are we ready for harvest

@Dexterado I see a ton of flower pistols/sites. She’ll get denser and phatter, just stick to your schedule and gameplan!! :+1:t2::green_heart::+1:t2::green_heart:

Oh now I got very excited when my first started with those beautiful lime green flowers! Then and today🤗

Ok guys, I waited 2 more weeks. Now at 12 weeks old. Getting concerned about the overall health of my plants. Lots of yellowing if the fan leaves, pale green leaves. Is it time to harvest yet???

It’s eating itself up which is good. Depends on the high you want. Milky with about 10% amber is a strong head high. 30-50% amber will usually knock you out if you do enough of it @Cgm

@Cgm are you still feeding? There’s a lot of white pistols on her still. If you are still giving nutes maybe consider increasing your P&K but if your flushing please just disregard my input lol.

Whoever said 2 weeks, two weeks ago, was wrong by the looks of it, but It also kinda looks like its foxtailing.

I would back the light off. 75% should do it. Winter is coming…lol so it thinks. Sorry binging GoT right now. If foxtailing look at preexisting flowers for trich color. Hard to judge by pistil color if throwing out new white. Just me.

@Fieldofdreams would it be wise to feed at 3 weeks possibly 4 week out from finish ? You asked if he was flushing. Do people flush more than once? I thought it was a one and done flush at the end of the plants life. Or is there more than one flush while reaching maturity say 3 weeks out?

What is fox tailing??
So is it ready??

Flushing

So I could harvest now? Eating itself up is a good way to describe how it looks!

What is fox tailing??

Foxtailing is the little shoots of growth on the sides of your buds where instead of being one smooth cola that starts big at the base and then tapers as it goes up, it appears kinda lumpy in places. It is most typically caused by light or heat stress.

Its normal for Cannabis to start losing leaves more and more as it get near harvest

This was harvested two weeks after this picture was taken

Oh ok , I get it. The flushing makes the plant use up its nutrients, so of course the leaves start to t oh yellow and die. Hard to watch after to try so hard to get good green growth for so long!

Ok thanks for explaining. I’ll back off on the light. Hard to do as the plants have grown all the way to the top of the grow tent. Can’t raise the lights any higher, so decrease the time they are on??

No mutes for 3 weeks now

I don’t have any experience, first grow. So afraid I’ll wait too late and get couch potato buds, lol. Such a huge learning curve at this stage. But I’m hanging in there, lol

@THC73 so the terminology’flushing’ kinda applies to a couple aspects. One style of flush is to push unused nutes through the soil by a heavy plain water saturation and acts as a reset button for the soil. This takes a lot of water. Some do this at flip or when flower first shows itself. Or there’s an issue causing a problem. It’s a remedy flush.

Typical waterings should have 10-20% runoff out of the container to reduce how often you need the major flush.

Final flushes are usually the last 2 wks before harvest when you cut off your supplements to the plant in order for it to canabalize itself. Thoughts are it will also help the taste but ther are plenty of growers who do not practice a final flush. Kinda a growers choice for this one.

I think @Cgm needs a week to week evaluation of the trichs at this point. Stay patient and watch the trichs for the look you want.

Its better to go a little too long then to harvest too early.
