Yeah the hybrids of today really are alot different from soild land races.
My father and his crew used to grow outside in the 80s and they never used a scope.
I got much respect for the origin of all these hybrids because we wouldn’t have them if there wasn’t for people like you playing with land races and selectively breeding them 
But I am limited to growing indoors and I do want as much potency as possible…
I can only dream of being able to grew giant trees like that outside 
.
My “largest” plants give me about 1lb dry weight. One of them trees could produce more then my bigest tent with 6 plants (4x6)
