Plant was put inside last week because it was getting cold at nights. This week has warmed back up so we put it back outside. Its been outside its entire life except last week.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It’s an iron deficiency. Are you feeding a product that includes micronutrients?
Definitely looks like iron. Very white. Starting from the center working its way out?
Iron deficiency is very rare in cannabis but does happen.
Only nutrients hes used is miracle grow. I told him he needed to switch up to something better. Thanks for the replies guys. Think the plant can be saved?
MG products of any kind are in general a no-go for growing cannabis. They can cause all kinds of problems.
Cannabis has unique nutrient requirements to be healthy. Jacks 321 is easy to use and inexpensive.
Yes. It needs a product with the proper levels of micronutrients like iron. The sooner the better. Jacks has what you need.
@MidwestGuy
Thanks brother. Im gonna tell him about Jacks for sure. Thanks for your time and advice.
It is. We see it every couple of months here in the forum. I have a growing collection of iron deficiency pics:
Iron deficiency in cannabis is generally caused by a lockout. Most commonly from phosphorus toxicity. Dr Bruce talks about it in his perfecting ph video. Take a look it’s very interesting.
Makes sense. Iron starts to lock out with pH above 6.5.
I assume that in this case it is MG fertilizer that is the problem here. Only 2 versions of MG fertilizer that I can find even include iron.
Yes he actually mentioned in his video how it’s unlike most other plants, cannabis will find iron if the ph is low, most plants like corn and such will get locked out when ph is low and find iron when it’s high? I thought it was interesting, guess that’s why iv always remembered it lol
