Any Mowie Wowie Growers? Considering for my next grow?

Hello
Considering Mowie Wowie for my next grow (will be my 3rd grow).

I’ll be growing in a tent, coco+perlite and Jacks with a Autopot system.

Looking for heavy Sativa for an energetic high. Actually I’d like to have something that makes me giggle like a school girl.

ILGM say MW is heavy Sativa and easy to grow.

Any other recommendations or advise before I order?

FYI - I bought some Acapolco Gold seeds. Should have researched more. Web say hard to grow, grows very large and long flowering time. I may try sometime when I have enough supply on hand.

Here’s my last Maui wowie:

I got a baseball sized flower off her. The flower was 3 to 4" in diameter.

Do you think two would fit in a 2x4x72”. Photos

Depends on the environment. I grew that one in a 4x4 and I’m not sure it would have fit in a 2x4 at harvest. She was too wide at ~4’ high and 3’ wide. I’m certain you could do it with the right training and not letting her veg too long.

A Maui wowie doesn’t grow all that different than any other strain.

When I fire things back up this fall Mowie is on priority list. It will be in a 3x3. Probably do some Cherry Pie in an Autopot in the closet

Here is why I asked about two plants fitting in a 2x4 tent. This is my current grow. A GG4 auto. Took up my entire tent. Did LST and SCROG.

Hoping to chg my technique this time and thin branches etc so not so dense.

Some may think it looks great but it’s full of very small buds. Guess it’ll be good for edibles.

Those buds have a tremendous amount of fattening up to do. They look good and will be impressive in the end.

The pics are several weeks ago. The top buds have fattened but there are tons inside and below the scrog.

I will have plenty but some large buds and a lot of small stuff. No complaints. Just learning

I have grown Acapolco Gold , yes it may flower longer but not that hard to grow. The smoke is great, well worth the effort to grow…happy growing :bat:  :vulcan_salute:

Yeah I go the other direction. I start with a manifold or some sort of variation having eight to twelve main colas. Sometimes I will let some of the secondary branches grow otherwise I keep it strictly to the 8 or 12. It depends on the plant and if I want to trim.

The way you describe it is exactly what I want to do on my next grow.

I’d rather have a smaller, more controlled plant with significant buds than the mass of small buds.

I’ve grown it inside an out. Purps up at the end and has a wonderful taste and high. It’s among my favorites. I have grown Big island Genetics and ILGM Maui.

The outdoor gets big the indoor is even tastier and it makes weight.
