Great question. I’ve got a friend of mine who was one of advanced nutrients first three employees over 20 plus years ago. All he does is research and development for the use of their products and cannabis.
Personally for me it’s a much cleaner less saltier nutrient line and their pH perfect system is what put the icing on the cake for me. Although I check my pH I never have to worry about my pH or ever adjust my pH it’s always “perfect”.
After a 20 minute conversation with my friend I didn’t even look at any other line of nutrients. They broke it down to levels of cannabis growth at certain stages so you’re always feeding exactly what they need.
I will however say when it comes to additives like cal mag, silica ect… I’ll use alternative brands that do the same thing that’s much cheaper price.
If you look at the really big guys in commercial growing they’re using advanced nutrients.
Last but not least, after using it for the first year the results from healthiness of plants, non-deficiencies, high yields have been the reason that I have never switched nor would I consider ever switching.
I see no reason why this couldn’t be used in a hydroponic setting. They even have their nutrients specifically for soil and specifically for Coco

@Lostgirl . Got the voodoo juice and bud candy today. Should i use juice as directed. 1st 2 weeks of veg and then 1st 2 weeks of flower? Or use every other cycle. Bud candy is straight forward. Thanks for you help again , you been so helpful.
Good day brother, if I’m not mistaken they recommend that you only use it a couple of weeks in flower. (Voodoo juice)
Personally, I use it once a week throughout the entire grow. Their Max dose is 8 mil per gallon. You should use 2.5 ml per gallon throughout the entire grow.
As for Bud Candy (that’s the food for voodoo juice) I would use it once a week throughout the entire grow. Also using 2.5 ml per gallon.
However, if you give voodoo juice on Monday every week you should give Bud Candy on Wednesday every week
This keeps your microbial life happy and fed throughout the entire grow.
(Less is more) but advanced nutrients will never tell you that
Also ditch the molasses. Don’t use it anymore the Bud Candy will take care of everything molasses did and more. If you look at the ingredients in your blood candy you’ll see why it’s better then just molasses.
Also just so you know. Using voodoo juice and Bud Candy will slightly raise the EC of your feed slightly

I do believe you mentioned having problems in the past with Fox farm nutrients. A lot of people here use it. A lot of people have problems with it. Some use it without issue. If I’m not mistaken it’s about the cheapest thing you can buy as far as quality goes.
I’ve never used it before but a lot of people say that the Jack’s 321 really works great for them.
I do believe you were considering on your next grow switching nutrients. The jacks sounds very simple and very inexpensive. Nevertheless as you know I’m a huge supporter of advanced nutrients.

Im not sure if it was the ff or the way i was feeding. I did wonder why the nutes had a lot.of granule like stuff that would never dissolve. I did switch to blue planet, too early to tell but they look pretty good. So far. We’ll see in a few weeks ,. Should be harvesting in the next 3 weeks . That should give me enough time to see how the blue planet works out.
One of my old friends from high school uses that. She always has healthy plants with nice yelds. You definitely don’t hear much about it on this forum.
I see. Your the only one to respond to the post . I heard about listening to Mr. Grow it podcast figured i give it a try.
You’ll get that from time to time. Nobody responds to my posts. I don’t think I’m very liked.

Dont worry, you’ll have more answers/advice as you go. Keep asking. We’re slow sometimes.
I’d decrease your light intensity a bit. 1000% that late in flower is TOO much. But your plants are awesome looking! Good job.

Has nothing to do with being liked, its busy at times, and the ones that do well don’t need much help until they do easy to help a noob, then one that has a bit of a grasp on what happens in a tent, and @Lostgirl have followed your thread since I signed up along with many others, I belive this is why my 1st indoor grow has been stellar so far,
and I thank ya’ll
