First grow. Blue Dream Auto. About 11 weeks in and much bushier than I expected. I did mild lst during veg stage and then just let it go with a little trimming here and there. 5 gallon pot using ocean forest soil in a 3x3x6 tent
This really your first grow? Welcome to the forum. That girl looks amazing congratulations you should be very proud.
Looks like it might be time for lollipop and trim. Focus the energy on your canopy.
I was wondering about trimming some but decided to just let this one go since it’s my first grow. Next up is ak47 auto that I may get more aggressive with training and may do two and try some things out. I am so impatient now and ready to harvest but know I still have a month or so.
Welcome to ILGM @Mightyoak . Good work. It wouldn’t hurt to trim some of the leaves out from the bottom to allow some air flow.
Excellent 1st run Grow Bro, looks like it’s about time for some nutrients
Good morning and welcome aboard!!! That is a beast!!! Great job in your first grow! Trim some of that extra bottom stuff, maybe snip a few leaves up top, and start feeding that baby. You are on track for a nice harvest!
Good luck and happy growing!

Thanks all! Appreciate the encouragement! I will trim some bottom today and reintroduce ferts. Held off for a couple of watering as I think I was overwatering and over feeding a little. But color has gotten a little pale the past few days.
A bit off the bottom an keeping feed 800-1000ppm looking for the fan leafs tips to discolor a little bit called painted nails means your at full feeding. That’s where most of not almost all of us try to keep our feeding. Will get pics of reference
What others have said about the trim is important. I would hate for you to have grown such a beautiful plant on your first time to just have it end up moldy and unsmokeable. You seem to be at about 21 days flower and the rule of thumb is a good defol at 21 and 42 days during flower. Airflow is very important at this stage especially if your humidity is above 50% in the tent.
Welcome to the forum. Large database here to browse.
Ok, I removed about 50 leaves including some very small bud sites under the canopy. Should I get more aggressive or maybe wait a few days and go again? Don’t want to stress her out.
shoot a pic
bottom 1/3 and interior small branches typically will only produce small flowers good for oils/concentrates. If plan on leaving them will need more feed and a stage harvest to ripen. I do that on a lot of plants when needing oils. If just good tops wanted clip off the small interior and lower branches. Major fans at bottom not getting light. Excess small leaves interior not getting light. Creates good airflow and energy is sent to existing foliage instead of feeding a bunch of go nowhere stuff. Just my thoughts.
That girl is very thick still.
I actuall trimmed more than this and tied some outer branches out away from the middle to open it up even more. Will post later. Also how many main bud branches should I shoot for. I have read 8-10 could be ideal. I have over 20 still so not sure I could go that low but maybe down to 15-20 for the first grow?
Much much better. Let her be a couple weeks. See where she goes. Cant put them back. You look good. I would stop there.
