Hi. Ilovegrowingmarijuana.com is the best website. I have been growing this plant for 163 days. We have had our ups and downs. PH has been 6.2 for the past few days. Highest it has been is 6.5. 600 watt. DWC. Clay pellets. My question is DOES ANYONE on here know the perfect ph for amnesia haze. This is my 4th grow and it was great until recently. I started with two plants but had to kill one because they got too big for my grow area but I use silica and found that it solved my hallow stem issue. I’m trying to grow some potent bud can anyone help. could it be my Bloom fertilizer it is maybe a year old Advanced Nutrients connoisseur A&B big bud, Bud Candy, sensizym. Terrpinator. Sensi cal. My parts per million have been around 850. please help. I read it takes about 90 days for amnesia to be ready for Harvest but Should i harvest now or wait it out? And see if it heals. Hurting in the USA
Unless you have an elaborate pH system that will constantly monitor and adjust pH for you so you can cater to a specific strains changing pH demands, then it’s best to stick with what works best in DWC…
PH of 5-7 allows the plant to live
Ph of 5.5 to 6.2 is good
Ph of 5.7-5.9 is optimal with 5.8 being the sweetest of the sweet
Thank you for your reply. I am going to try to keep bloom at 5.9 from here on out.
how long have you been growing.? The pictures are from my fourth grow. I am trying to get it right so I can try some of the Cannabis Cup winner seeds. I would like to grow ehite widow some time soon
@TDubWilly ^^^
I been growing consistently for 3 years, before that I would do small gorilla grows (all very small in yields) for the past 15.
I only have one journal over here and it’s from last year but I grow DWC also
I never try and get seeds from my plants so I can’t speak to this
What i meant was that i am going to purchase seeds of a strain that has won the cann. cup. I’ve grown super skunk, amnesia haze and gold leaf.

she will not heal, but u can stop the damage from progressing.!
looks like either pH fluctuation or Cal/Mag def.
DWC can be a top growing method, but it is high maintenance.!
the small res means frequent pH and fert adjustments.!
Soil2Coco put it best, “i didn’t like being married to my buckets”. lol
how much Ca and Mg is she getting.?
does your pH drop or raise often.?
I’ve only grown from seeds that i got from i love growing marijuana.
Thanks. I’m thinking pH fluctuations. I have found cal/mag tricky to use. how do you know when it’s too much calcium magnesium. you might be right about a deficiency though because I only had 5 milliliters to 6 gallons of water. I was adding more but then the plant started looking the way it does because of light burn I am assuming and that probably made the deficiency even worse. if that makes any sense. I would love to try the Coco and soil set up but I’m scared of soil it seems complicated I usually only grow one plant so it’s not too much of a hassle.
Yes I have had pH fluctuations usually after I change the water the pH is high the next day at a 6.5 so I will add a little bit a pH Down I have been trying to keep it at a 6.2. pH will drop drastically and I will have to spend a day keeping an eye on it and adding more pH Up. From now on I’m going to strive to keep it at 5.8 during bloom. I ended up cutting this one down today but I’m already working on another one
If your ph is fluctuating that heavily it seems to me the its locking out the supplements you’re giving it. If you stray to far even within the permissible ranges could lock out certain nutes. @TDubWilly journal has lots of info in there.
It had started flowering 40 days ago I wanted to reach at least 79 days. I’ve read this strain has a 90-day flowering period. Do you have any advice to prevent nutrient lockout
I’m sorry I’m not a hydro guy. I grown several amnesia haze auto plants and Each of them finished at different times watching for 75% of pistols browning and paying attention to the trichs on the buds and not the trichs on the sugar leaves will tell you when to chop. Might be good ideal to dump current and start anew with ph in proper range. 5.8 is the sweet spot for hydro as with that ph the plant will uptake all nutes. Hope this helps good luck
that was the problem.!!
and u will will battle this in DWC.
‘soil’ is the easiest grow method,
u can make it complicated, but it is not worth the effort.!
i always suggest for new growers to start in ‘soil’ then look into hydro.!
