I should have been more specific. Those drains are only to make it easy to collect the runoff samples. Basically unless I’m taking a runoff sample they will be closed.
Great idea so now you can individually take ph RO samples from each plant ![]()

DAY 44 porn
It’s going to be hell waiting for these plants to finish but it sure is dam fun to watch them progress.
Its also fun trying to figure out how to make the grow space more functional. To that end I added DIY gravity fed drip irrigation so the room can be on autopilot for I while if we decide to travel during this grow. I get nice even distribution so all I would need to do is add a garden hose timer.
GANJ DAMN! ![]()
lol see what I did there?
@Masshole, I have a quick question: From what day did you start counting how old your plants are-- from the day you started soaking the seeds, or the day you put them in the soil, or the day they first sprouted above the soil surface? Just curious as to how you and everyone else here counts the days, thanks.
@Herbalist - Using the day they first sprouted above the soil surface as Day 1
Okay, cool, thanks. ![]()
Hey bud it that polished stainless steel on the walls of your grow?
How awesome would that be! Not stainless just highly reflective mylar film.
Oh ok I just looked rigid to me and your girls are pretty bro
Thanks bud I’m going to build a proper grow room as soon as I harvest this run so I’m paying attention to everyone’s setups a little more trying to get some good ideas I’ll have a room 10 foot wide and 15 foot long estimated haven’t begun to build anything yet just getting ideas together still a few months away from actual build out ![]()

Looks like there’s trouble in paradise.
I’m pretty sure I know what I’m seeing here but would appreciate a second opinion (see pics). I’m so bummed out right now, everything seemed to be going perfect with these two plants but it appears my feminized Amnesia Haze auto flowers are showing signs of being males or hermie’s. No bananas yet but what I believe I see are male flowers ![]()
SHIT So what to do now & what the hell when wrong!
Let the grow go its course and utilize the seeds for future grows?
Would the seeds even be viable if I choose this course?
Trash these plants and start over?
Pluck every male flower in an effort to stop this madness?
Would plucking even work?
So many questions… any advise would be greatly appreciated.
No your plant is a girl! Those pistils you see that are orange, the end of the pistil that connects to the calyx means it’s a girl. They grow calyx where the pistil popped out. Those look female to me bro. That’s all I have to chime in with, hopefully a moderator can clear things up.
I know for a fact tho that’s a pistol and a calyx meaning its female. Males don’t grow pistils.
I hope these pictures from google help ![]()

Oh man I sure hope so. Thank you for the good news I needed it!
This would be like courting two beautiful woman for months only to discover they both have adams apples
(not that there’s anything wrong with that, just not my cup of tea).
Hahahahaha been there done that. Only to find out she had two boys in between her legs! Oh chit! See ya lady!!! (Or whatever he was) lmfao ![]()

Scary times downtown
Come on Seinfeld! LMAO…
Anyway, you’re good. Those have been there since she became old enough to determine sex. THAT is the location we use to do an early determination of sex.
On your next grow, pay attention to that area as it grows. You’ll see what I mean. It’s the first place my eyes look when deciding.
I have some feminized waiting, but I still always watch. I know Murphy all too well…
Another small upgrade …
I added a 3rd 300w LED and built a bracket out of spare / leftover drop ceiling grid parts to simplify hanging and adjusting the lights. Pretty simple, light weight and effective. Pretty soon, maybe tomorrow, I’m going to increase the size of the grow table so I can have two rows of 4 (8 total).
Dude you got one hell of a setup there love it and your dailed it plants are loving your skill
