So I’m trying to figure out why my one plant has so much more flowering and larger flowers The pistils are all white. and then these other two plants have very little flowering and alot of the pistils are red and when I touch them it weird they almost have a kind of dry feeling to them. They are all white widow .photo period under 5 1000 watt led… and been using fox farm nutrients in organic soil Now I will throw this out there the ph of the 2 plants in question the run off ph has been 5.5ish range for quite a while. But they haven’t had a single sign of any kind of deficiency the leaves have always been plush and totally green. And when I asked on this forum about the ph issue they said if they are doing good them let them be so i did… but is this normal why are the two plants bud small and so red and the other white and flourishing… is this normal do could the ph being low actually be making them do that or is this common I thought the pistils turning so red like that was suppose to be in last few weeks they have been redish since about 2ish or so into flowrr I will include pictures.
I can’t see red pistils.
Your plant look OK to me.
It’s looking good from those pics. Looks more like 4 weeks from light flip than 4 weeks of flower.
@BobbyDigital yes that picture was only about three and half weeks after I switched to 12/12 . That will bring me to a question don’t we count our flower weeks as soon as they we flip lights I thought cause that is kind of how I was justing for harvest
I don’t ( mostly since I do autos) I count it as soon as I see clustering pistols
I don’t count the transition period (1-2 weeks after flip). The plants line up more with the breeder estimates when I start at actual flower. This is where I start the count
I start counting as soon as it starts to flower.
It’s the same thing! I’m on day 8 of flower/12/12…and those look small for how far along you are…at week 3 my buds are bigger than this!
Yeah right, lol. Buds dont even start to form until close to the 3rd week of flower.
