Big fan of canna boost and cannazyme, i thought there pk 13/14 was garbage. Imo says a lot when you look at prices. I was so butt hurt i ditched canna altogether and moved to jacks before it was even a thing.
There is a number of things here that you can do…

Get mkp and run gg boost formula. It’s posted all over here so i won’t go into detail of explaining. It’s basically same as running lucas formula with gh.

Get anything similar to mkp and basically do the same thing. Easy out here, fox farms powdered trio will handle everything you need for flowering to tweak jacks recipe. Brand really means nothing though, everyone makes something that will work. Company like AN has products that will do anything, they’re just very proud of them.

Abandon any thought and add what you want when you want. It’s reckless abandonment, but if you keep close eye on your plants you can adjust as needed.

Just run jacks 321 start to finish. Seems lazy, but it works pretty well. This probably closest to what i do. I have mkp and don’t use it. I do add small amount of homemade cocktail starting week 3, but that part is complicated and not exactly necessary.

I agree, it is fantastic. I di(de-ionize)/ro my water and do exactly that. Except I found jacks lacking in silica wants for cannabis. Fortunately. With 11/7/3.5 on the jacks (for 3 gallons, numbers in grams). Using 3ml of botanicares silica blast (1ml/G), before I add in my parts a w/ mag sulf then part b. I land around 5.7-5.8… with no additional adjustments. The extra silicate only shows an issue during transition. Otherwise it is a god send. Gotta realize, trichomes are 100% made of silica…
Would not grow without some sort of silica booster .

i had canna pk from a previous grow. on the back of the bottle it says it’s MPK, so i thought i was doing option 2 here. i’m willing to take your word for it and switch to a different brand but why is it garbage? is it just expensive or are the nutrients themselves bad?

I’m not sure of ingredients, i will have to look around and see if i still have bottle. But there is definitely important lesson to your question. When you start talking about synthetic nutrients like this you have to remember that every company is building them off same group of compounds. If you were to have ingredient list from every bottle available you would see same stuff over and over for sure. Things like monopotassium phosphate, potassium sulfate, calcium nitrate, calcium carbonate, magnesium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, and several more. What’s different from one brand to next is how much of each goes into which bottle. Mkp is typically around 0-52-34. This makes it ideal to use as stand alone phosphate supplement. When other products added to make significant change to npk ratio in a single bottke could and usually will change final npk ratio of your total solution. So if you were one who said you like results from gg boost formula at transition, lets look at what that really means. Standard jacks 321 final npk ratio is something like 3-1-4. Moving to gg boost formula should have final npk ratio of about 1-2-2. If you were to replace 0-52-34 with 0-13-14 you cannot get to a 1-2-2 without starting with lower potassium than phosphorus ratio. Since your base with jacks hydroponic blend is 5-12-26 there is no way for you to isolate P from K with the pk 13/14. In this situation makes more sense to use straight mkp to increase P to K ratio, or to remove or reduce mkp to get back to a high potassium blend.
Seeing as we suspect there to be certain stages where phosphorus is beneficial and potassium can be detrimental and other stages where you may say the opposite, then having a bottle that is adding both in similar concentration is pointless. You may as well just add more of what you have to make ppm higher because adding both in one bottle isn’t going to chane relationship between the two.
Having said that, my opinion is based on trying to use it both with and without canna base nutrients. Didn’t seem to make any difference using as directed, and i didn’t find a practical application using it willy nilly with anything else either. This is what concluded me to explanation above.

Flipping to 12/12 tomorrow night. Oscillating tower fan is en route.
I had already made a 5 gallon batch of jacks with the canna pk by the time I read what @dbrn32 said, so I will give them this batch and then revert back to jacks + fishit (and weekly recharge).

2/24/2022 - Day 50
I went ahead and defoliated and cleaned up the undercarriages a bit. I will give them a few days to bounce back based on advice from @Mark0427 before flipping to flower.
I was probably a little heavy handed with the defoliation but hey it needed to be done and i was just delaying the inevitable. Now it will be easy to keep the innards clean. and it should make it much easier to water.
